    Good morning everyone. Hope we all have a great low carb day, don't forget to exercise, we all know how important it is.
    40 year old male 6' 3"

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

    Good Morning...

    I'm back to face another day. I had a bit of a let down on the scale yesterday but I'm determined not to let it discourage me this week. I have alot of temptations coming my way... faculty Christmas party on Wednesday, Pizza party on Friday, and lots of goodies going around at work... if I dwell on my lack of succees from last week then I'll give in this week and think "what the heck, why work so hard this week if it's not going to work anyway." This is my typical pattern of behavior. I get so impatient. I know this is a slow process and lots of factors can go into the numbers on the scale. I'm trying to keep that in mind and keep pressing forward. Maybe this week will pay off.

    My exercise for today Bluebelt will be my 1 hour Kick class. I love that class!

    Well I hope everyone has a beautiful Tuesday.

      Hi Liz,

      This comment breaks my heart...if I dwell on my lack of succees from last week.

      You had a very successful week...you worked out every day. You tried the Power Class at your gym. You gave away your favorite candies that you received from your Secret Santa. You did the CANNONBALL!!!

      You rock Liz!!! Don't let the numbers on the scale dictate your success!!!

        Hello again Liz,

        I forgot that you worked hard on drinking your H20...even buying yourself a new H20 bottle. You joined the I'm Worth It Challenge. Plus you discovered that you aren't eating enough based on your BMR.

            i am here......and ready to meet the challenges of today.....and take some risks for some rewards. it's going to be a great day!! i did my 110 pushups....and today i pushed up the squats with 90.

              Good morning everyone! I hope you all have a great day!! Liz, DO NOT give up! We're a team here and as a team we'll succeed. We've got your back. Pack your legal snacks and desserts (www.genaw.com/lowcarb) so you won't be tempted to give in at your Christmas functions. It helps me to think about where I started and how I felt so that I stay on track(those were some bad feelings that I don't want to return to). Plus, being surrounded by gobs of mirrors in the morning is not exactly a self-esteem booster. Whoever lived in my house before me had to be way conceited.

                    Is cocoa/chocolate a fruit, a legume, a nut? What step on the ladder? It's pretty high fiber for cocoa....which would be really nice during these 10 degree nights.....
