Becky that is absolutely fantastic! Not only will you be getting paid to do something you do anyway (and something you enjoy), you can inspire and help others to get healthy, too!

      Excellent news, Becky

Re: Now I get paid to exercise

Thanks everyone. I still can't believe it. My first class starts week after next. I'm organizing it now, having sign ups for it and getting the music and routine worked out. So, until then, I'm getting up and exercising...but soon it will fall into place.

Sandy...I can't describe how I feel physically as well as mentally. Why on earth didn't I do this twenty or thirty years ago when I was heading into obesity?? Oh well, as I always say...don't look back at what could have been...look forward to what is going to be.

I used to feel so tired, embarrassed and depressed. I never went out until night and I was so self-conscious. I hated myself and my life. Now, I go places, do public speaking and do things I never could have done. I walk around meeting new people and talking to strangers and never give it a second thought to what they think of me. If someone isn't nice...I don't blame it on my weight. I just figure it is their problem and they have something going on in their life that makes them unsociable.

Atkid...I wish your father the best of luck with his knees. It was the best thing I've done. My knees used to ache all the time and it was murder when I went to bed cause the pain was unbearable from being on them all day. I lived in constant pain and suffering. Tell him to keep a positive attitude about the knee surgery and to do his rehab religiously. Its hard, but it is soo worth the effort to be pain free at last.

Thanks again everyone. My husband calls me little Richard (after Richard Simmons). LOLOLOL, he said we both get paid to spread the love and help others with exercise.

The past 6 months I've had to get up at 1am and exercise and use the treadmill for 1 hour in order to exercise. Its been a struggle to keep positive about it and not turn the alarm off and just crawl back into bed. I got a new job a month ago and that makes it even harder cause now I take baby to sitter, my aunt has had surgery and is recovering in nursing home - now I go visit her everyday after work also ...so its still lots of stress.

BUT, my luck has changed. My boss has asked me to start teaching aerobic classes to the seniors at the center where I work. I am so excited. Now I can get my exercises in and get paid for it and it won't interfer in my home-time and my responsibilities there. And...I don't have to get up in the middle of the night and exercise anymore. (Now watch me automatically wake up every night out of habit and still exercise) lolol
That is amazing!! God has awarded your dedication for better health.
