    Good morning everyone, I am off to basketball with my boys, they have the early game this weekend. Then I'm going to UNH (New Hampshire) v. Dartmouth Hockey game tonight with my old college roommates, should be a good time.
    40 year old male 6' 3"

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

    Good Morning CC'ers! HAPPY SATURDAY!

    Have fun at the basketball and hockey games, Bluebelt.

    I'm heading to Kick class this morning and then no real plans for today. It's predicted to snow again today. YAY! So we'll see what happens.

      Here and 100%. Had my first plain avacado and OMG. I never knew they were so freaking awesomely tasty.

        Goo morning CCers. Just checking in. Kind of a lazy weekend here. Took a stroll before my first cup of coffee since this is the last "warm" day for a few days.

          Good Afternoon CCers!
          The weather people are calling for 4 inches today so we are at home all hunkered down waiting for the thaw. I picked up my stability ball and some 5 pound weights and a mat yesterday. Im hoping they will help to break me out of this funk I am in.

            I agree Avocado's are great. I like to mix them up with 2 tbsp. of sugar free salsa and put it on all kinds of things.

              Checking in finally, I had personal issues to deal with. The good news is that I'm feeling great and ready to kick @ss. Well mine that is,LOL
              Great news on the stability ball and 5 pound weights Suga. I'm going to have to go get me a stability ball and some weights too. Have fun tonite at the hockey game Roger. I love the game myself. That and boxing.
              MUFAS (monounsaturated fats) are so good for you Myra. That's what you're eating when you eat avacados. It's been proven that when you eat a form of MUFAS with each meal that you will lose weight, especially around your mid section, stomach. Also, When eating MUFAS at breakfst it can burst calorie burn for 5 hours after the meal, particularly with those with higher amounts of belly fat. Eating these mufas can also prevent and control type- 2 diabetes, reduce heart disease,(by lowering bad cholesterol LDL, and raising healthy cholesterol,HDL) Other forms of MUFAS are -

                I LOOOOVE avocado...I dice them and put them in salads with oil and vinegar dressing....


                I have one in my fridge, but I'm afraid to eat it.....
