  • Sugar Nightmare !!

    I had to share this

First of all I am deathly afraid of becoming diabetic. It is one reason why I know the Atkins lifestyle is something I needed and will follow forever (big words 4 weeks in but I am gonna repeat it to myself till it stick).

Every day it gets easier saying no to sweets, and breads, and pastas, and all the things that got me to 310 Lbs.

Last night I had a dream that I had lost quite a bit of weight already and was at a birthday party with birthday cake. And my brother and wife were egging me to eat cake and I kept saying no .. it will make me sick again. Finally they pressured me into eating the cake and I freaking got all sick and sweaty, my heart was racing, I was shaking, and I started to inflate !!!!

It was literally a sugar nightmware eeek !

    Anyone else have food nightmares?

    Re: Sugar Nightmare !!

Oh yes! I used to have them all the time. Usually I start crying hysterically in the dream, thinking of all the hard work I've undone. And the strangest part was that I was always eating foods that I had no conscious desire for. The food dreams have disappeared for the most part, but they do return when I'm really stressed out.

      Re: Sugar Nightmare !!

I have the same thing happen. They say that when someone is an addict of something wether it is food, drugs, alcohol or whatever that they will have dreams of using the addiction item and falling back into the pit. Stress usually triggers it.

This is a normal part of fighting addiciton and proves there was one to begin with.

HELLO MY NAME IS MARIAH AND I AM A FOOD ADDICT.... thank you
