Imagine how surprised I was that a belief system so important to my ancestors makes a hit and miss appearance on WoW. I couldn't resist and now I adore the game.
I will however, be cutting my playtime considerably to make room for exercise and meal planning. Responsible playing of WoW will be my reward for a job well done.
Thanks for the info on the caffiene withdrawal. The headache is slightly better since I drank more water. I just can't wait to feel better.
Hey Tim, I never followed up to see your reply on this one.
I played for 2 years, led a guild as GM, led raids, ran web sites and ate alot of Pizza and drank alot of beer in the process
I cut my play time tons of times but in the end I had to give it up because I loved it soooooo much
In December I left the game, sold my accounts, took my family on vacation to Disneyland and never looked back
It was super super hard kudos if you don't have a problem with it, for me it was a true addiction and a huge part of why i got up to 310 lbs (I'm only 5 foot 8 so that was a astronomical BMI
Right now I still wish I could play sometimes but at the same time I realize how much time and RL (real life) I burned away, I saw guys loose their jobs, girl friends, kids fail school, older kids failing college courses, and I almost lost my wife over it
To those who don't know about it .. it's just a super addictive game that is soo good, soo addictive, but soo time consuming the amount of time that the game requires to do "end game" is crazy we had raid sessions that lasted 4-5 hours at a time several nights a week and then we probably prepared and "farmed" 20 hours a week
I just wanted to share my story with you Tim me and my best friend we were Co-GMs for the entire time we built the Guild up to the largest on our Realm at one point with over 400 accounts and 2 Guilds maxed out to 500 characters, we completed all of MC/ZG/Karazan/Gruuls and now we have both quit and handed it over , we are both over weight, fighting health problems and trying to win back our wives hearts .. it's pure evil dude ..
Enough of that though ... the whole story is better suited for the Wow Widows forums
Good luck with that if you sense for a minute it hinders your ultimate health though remember in RL you don't get to Res
