Re: Gazelle
I just bought one in the past couple weeks. I had one years ago when they first came out and loved it, so I got another one. It is one of my favorite ways to work out.
There are many different ones. I got the Gazelle Elite and it is good for up to 350 lbs. Very sturdy and solid, totally unlike the one I have seen at Walmart for under 100 dollars.

Re: Gazelle
The elliptical machine is EVIL. lol... I totally agree though. I think it is probably a much better workout. Why? Because I can't do one for more than 5 minutes lol... so that means I haven't built my stamina and strength up enough yet.
One day maybe...

Re: Gazelle
Oh thank god. When I saw the heading for this thread, I was sure someone had incorporated gazelle meat into their Induction menu or something.

what I did was go for as long as I could then stop and walk around for a couple of minutes then do it again...I just kept doing that and I got to where I could stay longer and longer....

Re: Gazelle
I had one for a year, used it not that often (By obviousness that I'm still overweight..) I only used it on the easiest level when I did use it because of my knees (and yes, you'll break a big sweat after 10 min's or so) but my friend who walked 3-4 miles a day got on it and I think she put it on the mid-level and it kicked her ***! (Which is good.) She was so in love with it, she bought it from me.
ha ha.

Hello,Originally posted by sandyoneAnyone know anything about the Gazelle (no not the little deer like animal).
I own a Toni Little Gazelle and absolutely love it. It's one of his cadillac series. It has strength training on it. It also has a little computer gauge that keeps track of the time, milesge, MPH, pulse, calories burned. I also got all of Toni's workout CD's. There is no weight limit on the Toni Little Gazelle. It is extremely strong and sturdy. It folds up and is easily slid under the bed or it folds nicely out of the way next to a wall. I have it in my living room where I just climb on and take a walk/run any time. It's great!
It's something I enjoy and is easy impact on my joints. I highly recomend it.
Sincerely, Sherri
