    I'm FIRST, I'm FIRST! lol (unless of course Bluebelt's typing as we speak!!)

    I'm off to work and then the gym for Kick class tonight. I'm still keeping my goal of using Fitday this week. I'm finding that even consciously trying to eat more, I still don't think I'm getting enough veggies. Just curious...What are everyone's favorite veggies and how do you cook them? I need some ideas. Hope everyone has a wonderful Tuesday!

    Good morning Liz, I guess I got up late today lol. Have a great low carb day everyone.

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

      Good Morning!
      Had a terrible Monday as far as LC goes. It was all intentional too, so no excuses, just accept the responsibility and the fact I may not have a loss this coming Saturday. Have been up since 5am reading and getting re-motivated. Starting off with water today and taking it from there. Good LC day guys!

        Good morning and welcome to Super Tuesday. Vote early, vote often

        Liz, I like most veggies, and will try anything at least once. The ones I use the most:
        broccoli-must be blanched with olive oil, so it is still firm, not soggy, and retains it's bright color. I will NOT eat mush broccoli!! Once cooked, it will most likely be eaten cold with a tahini sauce or a peanutty satay style sauce. Occasionally, it will be chopped up into an omelet or quiche, or I'll make cream of broccoli soup. When I can afford shrimp, I like a shrimp/broccoli stirfry with mushrooms in hot sesame oil.
        spinach- usually steamed, chopped and creamed (neufchatel and garlic to season) comes out better than Boston Markets creamed spinach!. The other fav is Spinach salad with hot bacon dressing.
        artichokes- I buy the frozen hearts cause I'm lazy Cook with garlic and butter;
        asparagus- I love these just plain boiled or with butter, but I have been known to get fancy and raost them, then during the last minute, sprinkle with gorganzola and hazelnuts.
        red cabbage- Pork is usually accompanied by cabbage cause they seem to have an affinity for each other. Sautee red cabbage in a mix of butter and olive oil, sprinkle with caraway seeds and black pepper and just a couple of drops of apple cider vinegar. Serve with greasy ribs or kielbasa.
        Kohlrabi- my favorite is raw, and I'll slice it into "crackers" for dipping or just munch on it plain. My grandmother used to make a great creamed kohlrabi, but since roux is out of the question, the rare times that I make that, I'll thicken it with egg or notstarch and brown the butter really dark to try to imitate that roux flavor (close, sort of )
        cauliflower- pan fried in butter and olive oil for most "quick" meals, but my favorite is fake potato salad....it's gotta have egg in it to make it reallllly realistic----I passed this off at a BBQ at work and noone knew!

                Good Morning! I woke up this morning (3:00 am) to thunder and lightning which I love so I didn't want to go to work. Almost had to swim to work, but it's warm outside. It's still raining. I get so much done at home on rainy days. Ho Hum. I wish I could retire -- hubby says another 9 years! Have a great day!!!

                        Good morning everyone. As far as the vegetables, I hate veggies so I just eat them however lol. I make myself. ughh ickky! Last night I was craving a diet cherry pepsi so bad i couldnt even sleep! My mom and her friend brought me over a soday at about midnight last night, then I realized it wasnt diet, so I couldnt drink it anyways lol. I went to sleep not too happy!

                            GOOD MORNING !!! hehe

                            I don't have weights, or a gym membership so I started just doing some home exercises

                            OMG I'm out of shape !! Standing squats are HARD !!! My Glutes are already sore this morning !!! I tried push ups but my wrists started to hurt, today I'm gonna do some EZ-pushups it's what I'm gonna have to do till I drop more weight and get more strength oh and crunches .. lots of crunches
