rrrrrr....mils, arent you glad we only have one!!! Mine said something to me once that really hurt my feelings too (it wasnt about my weight-I think she knows better) but it was about my house....I am a neat freak...maybe not as much as her, but I am constantly cleaning, and one time she was over my house, sitting on our back porch and as I walked out there she was taking this fan apart that we have out there - I asked her what R U doing...she says cleaning this "uggg I dont know how ppl live like this" , Like we were slobs, or something!!! I had to walk away or I swear I would have choked her. She acted like all I do is sit around eating bon bons or something...really hurt my feelings.
I guess my point is...is that I think some mils think they have to over compensate to prove that "they" are the "ultimate" woman...and no other can compare.
I am so sorry your mil said that to you...just remember that when ppl say things like that...there are obviously some issues there. (within theirselves)
Remember: Love is blind...love has nothing to do with how someone looks...(its sad that that thought would even enter her mind, really sad.
Keep your head up...you are beautiful...no matter what!!!Comment

That is a wonderful picture. I think the basic theory applies - when someone puts you down it is just because they are insecure and trying to build themselves up.
Just don't start telling yourself it is true! 
It is nice seeing a picture where I actually have a neck!
