  • CC Roll Call TGIF 2/15/2008

    TGIF everyone!! Hope everyone had a wonderful (and low carb) Valentine's Day.

    It's Friday, for most of us that's a yeah. Have a great day CC'ers
    40 year old male 6' 3"

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

    Good Morning CC'ers!

    Hope everyone has a wonderful low-carb Friday. I'm heading to Savannah tonight to visit my old college roommate for the weekend so I probably won't get to check in with you guys again until Monday evening. I'm excited to have the whole week off next week for Winter Break! Stay strong this weekend guys.

      Good morning I just finished my pizza for "breakfast" (my dinner)
      I'm contemplating not brushing my teeth before bed, the taste is lingering wonderfully
      Blue, saw your pics in the Love handles challenge. you are looking fantastic!
      Losing all that insulation against the New Hampshire cold

      Night all, have a great day! (that sounds odd)

        Goodmorning Everybody!

        Happy Friday!!!

        I am so excited to say that I had a totally chocolate/candy free Valentine's Day. My very first EVER. It felt so good. I was tempted a couple of times, but it was brief and I moved right past it without feeling deprived or feeling cravings.

        I hope everyone has a wonderful day!!!


        It is nice seeing a picture where I actually have a neck!

          YES TGIF!!! My 3-day weekend will begin at 3pm!!!

          I didn't eat not one single piece of candy yesterday Heck, I didn't want to eat any.

          Hope you all have a great Atkins day.

              NO candy yesterday...

              I would like to announce that I have been cheat free for 1 month!!!

              a friend sent me some petit fours for Valentines (my FAVORITE)....they are in the freezer, untouched.....

              I am down another pound today!! yay me!!

                    Morning/afternoon all!

                    Haven't been around much this week, I've got a work project that's kicking me in the butt. No time for the gym, lots of stress, not enough sleep... thank god for Atkins energy is all I can say. Approaching 1 month in now and doing great.

                      Good afternoon CC'ers! Sorry for the no checkin yesterday. I was sick beyond belief and was so concerned to check in for my challenges that I completely forgot about my Century Club bretheren. I feel better today but I'm still dragging. I drank broth and water all day yesterday so my stomach is screaming for lunch which i'm going to have in a bit.

                      Congrats, BLue, Dropz, and Lori on the great progress. I'm still at 12 pounds lost but hopefully it'll move soon. My body really likes to hold on to those pounds for a while. At least I'm not gaining.

                          I have made it through half of February cheat free! I didn't have any candy yesterday either!

                            Hi everybody,

                            So I was terrible yesterday and ate some stuff I wasnt suppose to ): b4 the concert I had a 6 in sub, ant the concert I had about 4 low carb beers, then after the concert we all went out to bfast where I ate hash browns and toast...and then if that wasnt bad enough...I woke up in the middle of the night and ate a piece of cake...rrrr...I feel awefull. Carbs are like a drug to me...I eat a little bit...and it gets outta control. I dont know why I cheated, and I just felt that I needed to confess to my slip up (to make me accountable).

                            Anyway...Im paying for it today...I feel sluggish & have a massive headache. I am not gonna let this slip up ruin me though...and I its right back to business for me...Im headed to the gym now...to try to burn off some of that crap.

                            Congrats to everyone who stayed strong yesterday!
