    Good morning
    What's everyone up to for the weekend?





    290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

    Good morning,

    Busy day today, Boys last basketball game, then basketball Pizza Party, then the team is going to see a local low level pro basketball team play. Some where in there I will heading to Gym. Sunday-no real plans, yeah!!

    Hope everyone has a great low carb weekend.

    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

          Chick, What are you up to today? I've been wanting to ask you, How many chickens do you have and how many eggs do you get a day? Asking because I'm thinking about getting laying hens.
          Debi, That's what I'm doing today, relaxing. DH & DD are headed to the movies today. I'm staying home. Honestly, I wouldn't make it past the popcorn, so I'm not even going to tempt myself. I know me!

            morning everyone!!

            I am going for my swim, then going shopping with my daughter, and maybe to lunch...

            I took her to Anchor Blue for some clothes she needed for her economics class's "dress for success day" and they gave us 2 certificates good for $25 off when you spend $50. well...we have 2 of those...so we can spend 100 dollars and it will only cost me 50..YAY!!

              Good morning everyone!

              I have to begin studying today for a very hard test that is coming up on Thursday. I got a 90% on my last test (which is sad to say, made me angry because that is a B) and I hope to do that well or a little better on this one but this one's material is much more voluminous and technically difficult.

              I still haven't weighed yet and it is starting to get to me!!! I know I lost at least 8 pounds becuase that is what the doctor's scale said but I didn't get my weight from there. I told her I didn't want to know. The doctor's scale always weighs me heavier so I just wanted to know the difference in the numbers since I was there a month ago. I should be happy knowing I am losing fat becuase I am shrinking but DANGIT! I want to see that number that doesn't begin with a 2...at least once!

                  Morning folks, just a quick ghost checkin before I head back to work.

                  Today ends month 1 on atkins. Down 22.4 lbs, no cheats, I'm staying around the 20 -25 carb level, but adding some rung 1 and 2 OWL items. Overall, I feel fantastic, better focus at work, I'm sleeping less but waking up more refreshed than ever. My what seem to be daily headaches are gone, my wife says I'm snoring less already.

                  Overall, other than this ridiculous work schedule, I feel fantastic!

                    ran some errands this morning, waiting for the baby to wake up from her nap so we can go back out, have a few more to run...then start packing and gearing up for the Daytona 500 tomorrow.

I have more prereques to take next semester then next spring I can apply for RN school for the fall. If I get accepted, I will only have a year left in school. I'm a little tired of school right now but I really want to get my RN becuase the pay increase from LVN (about $15 an hour more) and job availability and security are just too good to pass up.

                      Plus, I study cosmetic chemistry on my own. I make soap and lotion from scratch using plant oils and butters and scent them with essential oils and good stuff. I like working with skin and I like doing wound care. I would like to do some spa stuff afterwards but work a few days a week in the hospital too.

                      Was that TMI? lol

                        Good evening everyone. Late check in for me. Congrats on the loss, Suga. I am working this weekend, but I get Monday off and I'm going to veg like no one's business. Keep going, everyone, we're doing great!

                          checking in..out of town for a few days so it gives me a chance to take advantage of the hotel's pool and elliptical...yay...no weight loss for this week so far...so a little discouraged..but I just keep telling myself not to worry about the number because I know I'm doing everything by the book...have a great night everyone!

                            not at all...very interesting, actually...I LOVE soaps and stuff....

                              I really like doing it. It is calming. I don't have any made right now because I have been so busy with school. I am ready to get back to doing it.
