hey everybody...my daughter got accepted to University of Washington...we are moving to Seattle this summer!! yippee!!! we have to hurry up and enjoy all our San Diego stuff b4 we go...zoo, Seaworld etc...

Kathie, I'm sorry your baby is sick too. Tashiana had her tonsils out last June. They said it would not prevent strep but that she would not get it as much. I'm grateful this is the first time she has had it since her tonsillectomy (she was getting strep every month).
I'm laughing at the face remark. No, I never did that (looking down). I can just see the eyes crossed. LOL!! It's sleeting here as well. School was let out early so Tashiana didn't miss too much.

Good Morning Everyone!!!

Sorry to hear your baby is sick, Cat. My baby is sick too -- tonsilitis and she's 33. It wasn't fashionable to take tonsils out when she was little and now she gets it all the time. Strep throat, too.

Congrats Sandy! We're neck and neck in the weight loss department. Mine is coming off pretty slowly this time. I wonder if it's my meds. When I first went on them it stalled me and I couldn't seem to lose anything. I'm sticking with it though. I can really tell a difference in the way my clothes fit.

Do you want to hear something funny? When my face plumped out enough that I could see my fat cheeks just by looking down, it drove me nuts until I got used to it. In the last two weeks I discovered that I can't see my cheeks any more. Every now and then I get caught looking down (crosseyed) to see if I can see my cheeks - ha! Did anyone else go through this?

We are getting sleet right now. I'm at work and live 15 miles away - yuck, I hate to drive on the ice.

Sorry to hear your daughter is sick. I have a similar story about cheeks. Before I lost my weight I would have to turn my head to see my earrings I was wearing in the mirror. Now I can look straight on into the mirror and see both my earrings on my ears without turning my head .
