    Good morning everyone, feeling much better today. More Snow, will it ever end??? Going to wait til it's done, snow blow then head to the gym. Hope everyone has a wonderful low carb day.



    LOW CARBS, WATER AND EXERCISE.
    40 year old male 6' 3"

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

    Hello this morning. I know what you mean about snow though we are not getting any today because I live in Chicago where the weather is crazy so it is all going to melt today and flood houses. Not mine. 45 today and 50 tommarro but I am sure more snow is on the way yet

      Good Morning Roger, Austlyn and all those that follow.
      I'm really jazzed this morning. I'm down to 243. I lost four pounds this week. I'm not going to weigh Monday because of the no weigh challenge untill after the 7th. I'm excited. Wishing everyone a great Low Car day.

        Congratulations Sherri!!

        I'm still at 192.5. Exercise always stalls me....go figure. I'm going to keep pushing though and maybe, for once, I'll break through the stall.

            Morning everyone. I hope you are having a great Saturday and March 1. A new month to lose more of that fat. I hope to lose 10 pounds this month. I am switching up my exercises to give it a go and joined an abs challenge (ugh!) Wish me luck!

              Weigh to go on those four pounds Sherri! That's great!

              Good luck on the Abs Challenge Porcelain. It's fun to do ab work cause you'll start feeling muscles in your belly you never knew were there. lol At least that's how it was for me.

              Well I just got home from the gym. I took Kick this morning and then decided to stay for the Instructors Challenge. It's a challenge they offer every so often but I have never participated before. It was intense! We started out with weights, rotating through 6 different exercises (biceps, triceps, lunges, clean and presses, rows, and chest presses). Since it was a "challenge" we had to do all these things using double the weight that we would normally use in Power class. OH MY GOSH, my muscles were shaking! After the weights we went straight into cardio... we did 3 Step songs, 2 Kick songs, and 2 Centurgy (yoga type) songs. It lasted for about 90 minutes. I was dripping sweat by the end! I just got out of the shower and am feeling refreshed.

                Is it normal to feel nauseous? lol, am I that out of shape?

                  Actually I did feel somewhat naseous when I first started doing crunches and my head would pound. I think what really helped me is to focus on breathing. Make sure you're breathing properly and don't strain your neck. Just keep pushing through them. I won't say they get easier, lol, but you'll get more used to them.

                    I was wondering why I didn't get any emails when new Roll Call messages were posted....then it hit me How about posting??? Senility, I tell 'ya!!
