  • oooh Temptation......

    I am going to the movies tonight with my Sister , and she is starting WW on monday so she has already announced she will be "going OUT with a Bang" that means I have to sit next to her while she east popcorn, candy, pop, nacj\hos... UGH help!!!!

    Just think you have already lost 33lbs, you feel better, you look better, nothing at the Movies can top that. Good Luck.

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

      You know your absolutly RIGHT I decided I am going to drink TONS O" Water before I leave, and I"m sneaking in some homemade Legal Hot wings!! :<)

          I remember when (for a short period) some movie theatres actually SOLD hot wings. I think they were too messy tho cuz I don't see them around anymore. Well we're in a money crunch right now so we haven't been to the movies and are just netflixing at home where I can eat anything LEGAL I want. But gosh darn it would be hard for me to sit next to someone eating hot buttery popcorn and nachos! I think when I do go I will sneak in some pork rinds! LOL! So what happened?

            I did good...although I ate strictly legal..I did over eat.. Thats the number one thing I need to work on no matter what WOE I am on...I just eat and eat....So of course I had a gain of 2 1/2 lbs this am!!! Sheesh I didnt eat THAT much, and its prolly alot of water..but still a a real smack in the face for ebing good...
            LIve and learn!!! I need to stop treating food as an activity-

              Well for a lot of us, that goes back to our childhood. Food was an activity. It was also used for reward, punishment, consolation..... I'm sure my mom considered nutrition in there somewhere

              I need to stop treating food as an activity-

                I know Food at our house was scarce..we had 4 kids and when food was presented you HOGGED it down as it went fast!! LOL Then when I got my first job I can remember taking "myself out' to dnner cause "i deserved it" Ugh

                    you bet- I bake the drummets or wings (just plain from the frozen section) at 400 on a baking sheet for 45 minutes...then in the micr I cook 1/2 stick of butter...then add 1/2 c of Franks Red Hot sauce....mix together and drip over wings..bake 5 minutes longer )
