    Good morning Chick and everyone else, looks like a nice day here today, mid 40s and sunny.

    Hope everyone has a great day.
    40 year old male 6' 3"

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

          Good morning everyone!! Looks like a good day here also, it's supposed to be upper 60's today which I am VERY happy about, I'm so sick of snow and cold weather.

          I'm up 2lbs today and feel very bloated I dont know what's going on with my stomach lately but hopefully it will be gone soon and the lbs will start dropping!

          I hope everyone has a good day! Drink lots of water!

            Good morning. Very stressful day!! Congrats Kathie on the lost pounds. Sherri, I would love to join you but am loving the Breyer's fudge bars too much. I limit myself to one per day (so that is restraint for me).

                      Good Afternoon CC'ers! Just got home from work and trying to talk myself into going to kick tonight. I just can't seem to get motivated. Why is it when I have such a good week of weight loss I try to slack off the next week? Eating has not been great today. I can tell it's going to be a not so good week for me.

                          Short answer? Because you, like most of us who deal with weight and body image issues are just as afraid of success deep down as we are of failing. We often don't feel like we deserve to reach our goals, because what happens then? What's next?

                          You're worth the effort you're putting in liz. It's just one or two days, get yourself back on track right now. You are worth this. You are worth the weight loss, and you deserve your time in the gym.

                            Don't set yourself up...everytime you start to feel down or negative, just remember how awesome you felt when that scale read 7 pounds lighter...you are worth it...and just remember what an inspiration you are to so many people...you can do this

                              lol Chick... yes guilt trips always work on me.

                              Thanks for the support guys. I was breezing through temptations without a second glance up until recently. Now all of a sudden things are getting harder to resist. I'm just really disappointed in myself because I ate 3 vanilla cookies today. My students eat snack every day... never a problem. But today for some reason... I saw the cookies on the counter after school and I ate 3 of them without a second thought. I'm stepping into dangerous territory. And it looks like I won't be getting to Kick class tonight after all. I forgot we have a PTO meeting at school tonight and our principal requires teachers to attend.
