    Hello my name is Kevin, I have just recently started atkins and i'm hopeing to stick with this untill my goal is met and beyond. I currently weigh 318 lbs i'm 25 and would like to hit a target goal of 180 lbs.

    According to sites I should be 160 lbs, but i'm just gonna stick with 180 for now. Someone recomended I post in this forum since I need to lose over 100 lbs like everyone else here.

    I have struggled alot with diets before but I really think I can stick with this one, I have read Dr. Atkins book and some of the sucess stories here and I hope I will do well.

      Hi Kevin,

      Welcome to the Century Club, it's a great group of people and we are always looking for new friends.
      40 year old male 6' 3"

      What I know:
      1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
      2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
      3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
      4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

        Welcome! That's great that you've read the whole book. I think it makes all the difference in the world because you know how to start and how to continue through each stage. Any questions just ask.
