Re: CC Roll Call Saturday 3-22-08
Hi everybody, I made it thru the day, lots of temptations hahaha well I guess being in a family where everybody loves tacos and serving everything with rice and beans and lots of tortillas, weat and corn, makes it a little dificult, but I had a great dish of Adobo, its a pork meat with diferent chilis and garlic and other spices, that was it for the lunch, our heavy meal. For us dinner is a little late, 9pm, and lighter, we usualy have eggs with something, so I was invited to have eggs with cheese and salsa, in my sister in law house, I spend the day chasing my little 2 year old nephew and teaching him how to cross the street
we went shopping for groceries and I found some nice rack for my bathroom, so my soap doesnt fall each time I take the shampoo hahaha
When I was little and lived in Matamoros, a border city near Brownsville TX I used to celebrate Easter, with the hidden eggs and the chocolate bunnies, I loved it, but in Monterrey, this celebration doesnt exist, so no eggs for kids, although it seems that people are trying to adopt this celebration, but I guess it will take some years for that.
So happy Easter to you, for me a delicious sunday being at home after several days of complete stress hahaha and tomorrow is also my last day of induction!!!
Take care,
Rosa
