    Good morning CC'ers and a special welcome to our newest members of Century Club, great to have the new additions.
    40 year old male 6' 3"

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

    Good Morning CC'ers! I have been neglecting the ADBB and this WOE for the past few days. It's time for me to get my focus back and clean up my act. I hate admitting defeat but those evil carbs have gotten the best of me lately. NO MORE!!!! Today is a brand new day. I hope we all make it a successful one.

      Liz, am I gonna have to come down there and kick your butt? You did so well, what with a SEVEN pound loss visit from the woosh fairy.
      Don't waste it!!!!!

        Liz, girlfriend, you can do this! Look at your success from 10/1/07 to 03/10/07!!!! You are over 10% gone. The 200s are in sight! How great would that feel?

          Good morning everyone. Stick with us Liz and we'll see you through. Thank goodness it's nice out. I think I'm going to have to walk everywhere today. I had a bad car day yesterday. I went to take my youngest to school with his friends and when we got into my van it wouldn't steer. The hose burst again, it's the third time this month. I called AAA and got it towed. They can't figure out why it keeps bursting. We have another car because my husband drives a company car to work, so I move everyone into the small car ( I watch 3 very little ones for family), carseats and all, pulled out of the driveway, get to the end of the street and the engine light came on. It started banging and smoking. I had to pull back into the driveway and call AAA again. The woman said didn't we just send a truck out to you, I said yes now I need another one. I had to call my friend out of work to drive the kids. She offered me her car today. Now that's a good friend! I destroyed 2 cars in 1 day and she still offers me hers.             Good morning everyone!! I choose to live today with plenty of gratitude and less attitude.

            Liz, focus!! You can do this. Don't let fear of success (which I have a feeling is bothering you) deter you from your goals. You are a strong young woman and you CAN DO this.

              Well heeellllooo everyone!

              Liz...c'mon now...you can do this...you ARE doing it...just get your focus back...if you keep this up we may have to send blue your way to body slam you into submission (or something like that!)

              Car trouble in doubles...that stinks...But the bright spot in the story is...you have a wonderful friend!

              I am in a major stall...but pushing onward and upward!

                      What you said there really struck a nerve with me. I think one of the reasons I am having my little freakouts is because I am eating well and exercising and doing well in school. I feel like I have this house of cards and with one wrong move it is going to all fall down. But if it doesn't, what the **** am I going to do with this damn house of cards when I am at goal with my weight and at goal with getting my RN license? The first time I heard of something like this was when Suze Orman (I think) wrote a book titled "Dare to be Rich." I thought it was stupid then but now that I have gotten older, there is a great fear of success. How do you get over something like that?

                        Great to hear you've gotten back on track Liz! We will hit bumps in the road. As long as you don't allow the bumps to detour you or cause you to turn back from continuing on to your destination (goal). When you think about where you've come from and where you're going, it will give you the strength to journey on. Take one day at a time. You are doing a fantastic job! I'm rooting for you Liz! As I am for everyone here!
                        I had a great day yesterday. Got my stair climbing in at the lake. It was great. I can see where this workout is going to get me in better shape.

                            Good morning, here I am resting from my 1 mile walk hehe yes I know is little, but I'll do better next week, right now Im burning fat making paper airplanes for my nephew and runing with him all over the house, I love it when he calls me Tia (aunt) Rose,

                            Yesterday mi brother Fer and Heather arrived from Delaware, I was so happy to see them In a moment I will go to my parents house again and see what are the plans for today, beside going to the airport for my other brother that is coming from Cancun. Tomorrow is my nephew's surgery, so Im praying that everything will be great, I stay with him last night in his house and it was so stressfull cause he cant breath well, I couldnt sleep much. I wasnt very inspired to do exercise today, but I saw my jeans, the ones that dont fit of my challenge and I got on the treadmill and walk for half an hour, and right now Im drinking my 64 oz of water as I write hehehe

                              I don't know if you really can. I find as I get closer to goal that I'm having major bouts of anxiety. I think we're just going to have to push past the fear....because we both WILL be successful. I refuse to let my fears hold me down.
