    Good morning all, great to go back and read how well everyone is doing and to see the pounds melting off.

    Liz, hope you are back on track! I know how tough this can be, but you are doing so well. Not to mention, food provides no real comfort, 30 minutes of pleasure following by hours or days of guilt and remorse. Hang in there my friend. By the way your pictures, definetly show progress, great job.

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

            Hi everyone! Great day today, my van is back, the scale is finally moving again in the right direction and I went out to eat with a friend today. My husband and I have been avoiding going out to eat because we're nervous about not knowing what's on the menu. If we cook it ourself we know exactly what's in it. I went out to IHOP and I was nervous because of the pancake batter in the eggs but I noticed on the back on the menu is lists options for low fat and low carb. I ordered the low carb T-bone steak and eggs. It says all the low carb meals are under 15 carbs but I want to make sure I'm counting this right. I made sure to ask if the meat was unmarinated and the eggs were just eggs, nothing added, she said yes. I'm thinking the steak was nothing and the eggs were 0.6 a piece...right? So there were 4 eggs so the whole meal was 2.4. Is that right?

                Bythree: Congrats on the IHOP success. You're a trooper! That's one place that would have likely be overwhelming for me. I LOVE pancakes loaded with butter and syrup. BUT the success of 19 cheat free days continues to motivate me to stick with the plan.

                    Good afternoon everyone! It's one day at a time, right? I eat oysters twice a week to keep my iron up and OMG I don't know how I missed it before but there are 12 carbs in each can!!!! It looks like I'll need to drop down to 1/2 can.

                    Anyway, tomorrow my vacation starts (jump! jump!). I'll have 6 1/2 days off, but I only had to use two of my vaction days because my boss owed me. That will be a welcome break.

                      Good morning I've already been a buzzzzzeee bee today, disassembling what the wind left of the hoop house. What a bummer. We should look into wind power down here!

                        Good Afternoon everyone,
                        I went to the gym with my H (who is really a live-in XH) again today and we stayed for two hours. I did 25 min of cardio on the eliptical and worked on my legs using about 9 different pieces of workout equipment. I hope he continues to not mind if I go with him its pretty motivating to have him there and take turns doing sets on the equipment.

                        I'm going to try and post a picture or two later today. I think it will be helpful to me. I still have a thin girl mind image and whenever I catch myself in a full length mirror or a photo I'm utterly shocked. I think it will be helpful for me to realize I'm not the thin or even average sized girl I think I am and maybe help me to focus on diet and exercise more.

                        Hope everyone has a low carb day!

                            Thanks Blue! Today has been MUCH better eating wise. I didn't make it to the gym today but plan on going tomorrow for 2 or maybe even 3 classes (Kick, Power, and Groove). I'm glad to be back on the straight and narrow. I now realize how easy it is to veer off track and before you know it you've taken a wrong turn into Carbland and can't find your way out.



                            Welcome back Austlyn! There will be a summer challenge coming soon.
