    Good morning everyone. Hope you are all doing well and are motivated to have another fabulous low carb day!

    I'm pretty excited today, as I calculated, that I lost 2.5 kg ... which is about 5.5 lbs within one week. I'm a pretty slow looser... but at least currently a steady looser.

    So... happy Friday to everyone!

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

      My "morning" was a hunk of chicken liver with a piece of truffle cake for dessert I'm just about ready for bed !

              yeah... what is truffle cake? My co-worker just came in with cake for everyone.... but it's not low-carb, so I just took a "nose-full" meaning I just smelled the packaging.

              I think I have to look at Linda's site to find a cheese cake recipe I can make on of these days. Anyone ever tried freezing small portions... oh... how about low carb ice-cream... oh.... yummy.... gotta find a recipe.

                Morning all.....my body is soooo tired this morning..It is screaming "No more workouts!!" But its Friday...last chance for the week- so sorry bod- your getting a beating today!! ha ha!!!! :,)
                Oh and I got me some Jicama last night so I"m excited to try it!!

                        The truffle cake is from Linda's website. I used erythritol instead of Splenda to save carbs, and only 1/3 the amount listed. Learned from the previous recipe (pound cake) that these recipes are wayyyyyy to sweet when you haven't done sugar for a while!
                        I used chocoperfection chocolate bars instead of the recommended 85% cause, well, that's what I had Awesomely rich. i figured I saved so many carbs that I could call the recipe 6 servings, but cutting it into 10 would be plenty!

                          BTW, I just noticed netrition is selling ogliofructoside(sp?) as a sweetner. Wicked expensive (18.95 for a pound!!!!) but I like the idea of sweetening with an all natural FIBER!! A pound should last me a year, as I used Stevia for most things and only use erythritol, and now the oglio, when the bulk is required.

                            I haven't seemed to be able to getin here all week to post. The kids have been out on Spring Break and keeping me hopping. I have a crick in my neck from all the stress. Needless to say I didn't get to the gym one day this week and hardly any exercise. I did stick to low carb except for Sunday which was my daughters Bday party and I had a small piece of cake and some lemonade at her Tea Party.

                            My scale was kind today though. I am down to 261. I am looking forward to a better week next week when they are back in school. Plan on hitting the gym 3-4 days at least.
