    Good morning everyone. Hoping to squeeze in some yard work between the passing rain clouds. Need to clean up after a long winter. Hope everyone has a great weekend.
    40 year old male 6' 3"

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

    Morning everyone!! This is my Saturday of the month to work. UGH!!! I am not feeling well at all this morning, but I plan on making the best of it. Have a great day!!

      Good Morning Roger, Have fun doing yard work. That's something I enjoy doing. It's a nice workout.

        Hi Bluebelt, Missy and Sherri, I think I will be doing gardening today also, its clowdy and fresh, I hope it stays that way the rest of the day cause Im going to spend a long time in that back yard! it looks like a jungle! I might, just might wash my car today, but I have a friend reunion in the night and Im the one making the food, lasagna and garlic bread for them and parmesan chichen, salad and some low carb lasagna for me, I'll just have to find out how! maybe thin slices of zuccini instead of pasta or jicama, mmm... I'll experiment.

          Good morning everyone! Roger, like you, I may do some raking today. If so, I'll count it as my cardio because I know my heart will be pumpin'. Missy, I hope you feel better. Sherri, I'm jealous it's so nice where you are - it's 35 here (and feels like 26) ! Rosa, you'll have to let us know what you come up with for low-carb lasagna. Here's a lasagna recipe from Linda's site. It's not for induction though - I can't remember what stage you're at.

          Saturdays are my days to weigh-in...I'm happy to report I've lost 2 more pounds. That's 20 total - gone forever, banished! Last night I was on the treadmill and did 5 one-minute intervals running. I may try the couch to 5K program out. Even running that small of an amount brought my workout up a notch. We'll see...

            Hi everyone. Wishing you a fabulous Saturday. I just finished an 1 1/2 hr workout and I feel great! This afternoon I made some low carb mini cheesecakes - they looked fab in the oven, but when I wanted to take them out they totally sunck in :-( they look funny now... but hopefully they'll taste good anyhow. I'll let you now! Hmmm ... yummy .. legal treat!

            Oh... and I went shopping for a new top today and I was really surprised, that size XL fit me well! I bought it and for encouragement I bought it also in size L - hope I'll fit it by May 9. That's when I fly to Washington DC for a long weekend.

              I just decided on ending Extended Induction and moving to OWL Rung 1. Who else is doing OWL and which rung are you at?

                Morning all the scale was kind this morning. I hit 260, hope to be in the 250s by the end of the weekend! Whoo Hooo first time being at 260 in a long while!

                    I'm jealous of everyone! I had work today until 4! But as of right now it is sunny and amazing outside! I still can't believe it's 93 degrees right now!!! I wish everyone a wonderful day! As for me I'm going to soak up some rays and do some laps in the pool!

                        I finally made it in here today. I've been busy doing housework and laundry -- yuck, but I never felt like doing a whole day's worth of housework before. It sure makes a difference shedding a few pounds. Dinner is cooking. I'm trying a new pork chop recipe. I'll let you know if it's good. Having some broccoli and salad with chunky bleu cheese dressing with the chops.

                        After several warm, nice days during the week, it is cold today -- probably didn't get over 45°. I hope the rest of you had nice weather and got your yard work finished.

                          Hi everyone,
                          Blue I hope you got your yard work in. you're not far from me and we were suppose to get horrible rains all day but it was gorgeous out! I love when the weather people are wrong (only when it's for the good..lol). It just started raining with thunder and lightning here about 8pm. Perfect timing we just got back from the dog park. There was no one there so we were power walking. My poor dog is out cold. He doesn't know what to make of all the walking we're doing.
                          Sherri, fishing sounds like a great way to spend the day, I hope they were biting for you.
                          Rosa let us know how you made the lasagna and how it turned out. I've been trying to think of a new way to make it. I love Italian food and I miss it a lot so I need to find new ways to change my recipes.
                          Congrats on the weight loss Kristine and Rebel!
                          Salima, I'm on OWL, I'm on the 2nd rung but so far I haven't had time to use the ricotta cheese. That's really the only thing I would use on that rung.

                            Hi guys,

                            I keep forgetting what places I'm supposed to post. But here I am. On my way back from a huge blunder. (see journal, I'm not willing to write it again, too embarrased.) I've heard that you can do an induction-legal lasagna by using zucchini strips. (sliced with a vegetable peeler. I haven't tried it but it sounds intriguing. Have a great weekend guys.
