    Good morning everyone, supposed to be a beautiful day here in New England.

    Hope everyone has a great day, wonderful to see so many new members
    40 year old male 6' 3"

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

    Good morning Roger and anyone else who will check in today. Wishing you all a great day - mine started well - my scale showed 500 g (1.1 lb) down.

      Congrats swissMiss! I'm glad you interpret the grams into pounds----it's almost bedtime and my brain would hurt trying that now!

            Goodmorning Blue, Salima, bythree, and all others to follow! Awesome job on the loss Salima!

            My interview went very well yesterday except for the fact that the pay is super low. So, I'm not sure if I will be taking that job or not. But it's okay. I will be spring cleaning today since I'm just a ball of energy this morning.

            I hope everyone has a great low carb day!!!!

                    Good morning, well today is my first day without smoking, so Im feeling ok, I smell good hahaha and I woke up really early with this obsesion of cleaning my house to get rid of the smoke smell, but right now Im so tired, I got my breakfast to see if that would give me energy but it didnt, so I will go to for a little nap to see if that helps to get off this down emotion, or maybe its just the lack of nicotine? ok, anyway Im keeping myself cheatless, I had some sugar free candy from before I started Atkins and check the carb grams and it had 5 gr. each tiny candy! I will throw them away!

                    GOing to do my exercises after nap, right now I just want to lay down and sleep,

                      Hey Sugar_Ant87, I see you live in Ocala, FL. When I was younger I lived in Lady Lake, FL for a couple of years. I went to Fruitland Park Elementary.

                      Rosa, hang in there! Just like the food cravings went away (or significantly diminished) the smoking cravings will too.

                      I snuck a 15 walk in this morning during a break, but now it's raining so I can't walk during my lunch break. I cannot wait until the gym is finished in our building at work. It was supposed to be done in April, but it sounds like June now. From what I've heard we'll have FREE access. That rocks!

                        Wow everyone is in spring cleaning mood. I wonder when it's gonna hit me ;-) Maybe this weekend - cleaning apparently burns a lot of energy.

                        @ Missy - good for you! Wish I could resist getting on the scale - I feel as if I'm addicted!

                        @ Kristine - wow a gym in the office buildung - that's awesome! Seems you got a cool employer! My gym is on my way home and at home there's my elliptical trainer, onto which I get on about 4-5 times a week.

                        Anyways - bedtime soon over here. Have a great rest of the day CC'ers.

                          Hey CC'ers... checking in late tonight. It has been another long day. I had my first session with my personal trainer today and she kicked my butt. I have a feeling I'm going to be super sore in the morning. I really think I'm going to like having a trainer. My plan is to meet with her 2x a week for an hour and we'll see where it goes from there.

                          Anyway, hope everyone's had a great day. Tomorrow's Friday! YAY!

                            O wow... small world. My Dad actually lives in fruitland park. I just got back a few hours ago from visiting him =)
