I'm trying to find a spaghetti sauce that doesn't have sugar in it,(I know I can make my own but this is for when I'm lazy). I've found a few but they have ricotta in it. In () after ricotta it lists whey as one of the ingredients in ricotta. I'm on the cheese rung so I can have ricotta so can I eat this sauce??? I thought whey was some form of wheat. TIA Kathie

Whey is a dairy product.
Cheese rung? Never heard of that one... I'm assuming you mean Rung 2 (Dairy)? If so, yes, whey is allowed on Rung 2.Originally posted by bythree
