  • An swesome and inspirational thread

I borrowed this from the Exercise board..but I tell ya it was LIFE CHANGING!!!

    http://www.atkinsdietbulletinboard.c...ad.php?t=56672

I have been tryen and tryen to follow the C25K program..but failing miserably!
I would try to RUN too fast and then was sooo winded that I couldnt recover fast enough and would eventually BURN OUT!
Last night I followed the advise and went s l o w...AMEN it worked!! I felt GREAT, I did the entire program ( plus an additional 45 minutes of my own) and felt so powerful an strong!! I know in time my speed will increase, but for now I just relish in the idea that OMG I RAN!!!!!

I think that is amazing. Maybe because I smoke, but I can barely walk 1/2 hour without feeling like a truck ran over me----or wishing one would!!

It could be..but I have found that if I push myself even the smallest way I feel even better the next time :<)
When I started walking after I had my 2nd baby- I cold barely make it around the block- 6 weeks later I was pushing 2 kids in a stroller in Summer Texas heat for 4 miles at a time-and fast!! Its amazing how fast our endurance can pick up-

      You can do it Chick!!!
