  • CC Roll Call Monday 5-12-08

    Good morning everyone, did not stay on plan this weekend, ate poorly, first time off this WOE since I started. However, I am mentally fine and back on track. Have a great day everyone.
    40 year old male 6' 3"

    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

      Good morning! Yesterday was really nice, despite the downpour we had most of the afternoon. My DH took us to breakfast at a buffet where I had eggs, cheese, bacon, and salad, believe it or not. Then we had roasted chicken and broccoli for dinner. It was really good.

      Still raining today. Supposed to be sunny and warm tomorrow, but then more rain the rest of the week.

        Haven't checked in for awhile... I hope everyone is doing well..

        Down five pounds this week...I need to work on consistently exercising though!

            Good Morning, Im feeling so slow today, I woke up at 4.30am and got ready to do exercises but then I got sleepy again and took me a while to get ready again, the TOM should be here but its not, so I think I will have to go to the doctor.

              I wonder if it's something in the air, I too cheated for my first time this weekend, I went completely overboard on Sunday, pizza, skittles, the whole 9 yards.

              Surprisingly I'm not mad at myself at all, I did it, I own that I did it, and I got up this morning at 6am to go swim laps and I'm right back on plan.

                Your human= and this is a WOE for life- you couldnt be a BETTER example of this-
                I made the 'choice" to eat as I wanted on Mothers day..Its nice- the longer I am on this WOE the less I feel I need to cave....Its a VERY freeing feeling to actually be able to make a 'choice' instead of just succombing to foods - does that make sense?
                So I ate yummy taco bell( fast food is my FAv!! LOL) and it was goood- but now I"m back on plan and ready to go!!!

                So have a GREAT WEEK everyone!! MY hubby comes home in just DAYS!!! who hoo
