    Hi...

I've been on locarb before but would stall out at 20lb loss or so, would get discouraged and quit. I've never weighed as much as I do now and I feel yukky. The last time I got weighed was at the drs office last week and I was 285. I need to lose around 120-130 lbs. I know it can be done because I've been reading the success posts and I've seen before and after pictures. So here I am again, on my way to saving my life.

      Re: Hi...

You came to the right place. I was having a hard time restarting as well. I would do fine for a day or 2 and I would fall into the "I'll start over tomorrow and this time I'll follow it to the T" trap over and over. I had a huge meltdown about a month or so ago. I came here a shared my feelings with all these wonderful people on this board and just like I thought they would, they pulled me out from the dark hole I was in.

Trust me everyone here cares and no one here wants to see you fail. We are all a big happy family and now we welcome you.

Welcome -- you can do this. This is the ONLY way of eating I've EVER been able to be successful and maintain long term. I haven't been perfect, especially lately, I know I'm committed to this way of eating for life. I haven't reached the 100 pound mark yet, but getting close.... before you know it, you will be too! Good luck to you.

                1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
