Hi Everyone,
My name is Kate and I have over 100 pounds to lose. Been doing Atkins for nearly two weeks and have so far lost about 4kg ( I say 'about' because I only weigh in weekly, tempting though it is to hop on the scales at other times). I lost 3.5kg in the first week.
A couple of things, I am getting a little disheartened because I realise just HOW much weight I have to lose - that seems very daunting!
Secondly, try as I might, I have great trouble sacrificing my morning cup of tea with a bit of milk. Is this going to be terribly harmful? I know that milk is not in the Induction list of acceptable foods - but you try parting an englishwoman from her tea!
The board seems great, everyone is very supportive.
Thanks,
Keetje

how about some cream in your tea (or is that blasphemy?)

. Chick is right, how about using your allowed cream for Induction in your tea? You're allowed 2-3 tablespoons of heavy or light cream a day. It's extrmely important that you follow the Induction rules to the T to get the maximum results. Do you have DANDR 2002 book? Extremely important to read it and go by what it says.
