    I'm here! Hey Sherri, do you know where I can find the little "card" that has everything I am able to eat on Atkins? I can't find it anywhere, but I saw it on ADBB before. Help! Thanks!

      I had a rough night... woke up with a shooting pain in my foot about every 30 minutes. My mom slept in my room with me and helped me get through it. I am exhausted today but still having the same problem. Just when I get to sleep good the pain returns. HELP! I am so ready for surgery on Monday!

          They gave me Percocet for pain but the problem now is with my heel. Every time I elevate my leg, after about 30 minutes, I get this burning pain in my heel. As soon as I let my leg hang off the side of the bed for a minute and let the blood flow back down. It stops. It's like a vicious cycle and I can't get any sleep. I have to keep it up as much as possible and it does help my leg feel better overall to have it up but it's that dang burning in my heel keeping my up at night. The only thing I can figure is it has something to do with the circulation or nerves down there. The doctor's had no suggestions. Ugh... it's awful. Sorry to be such a complainer. I'm just ready for this all to be over.

            Geez, if percoset doesn't do it, maybe you have a pinched nerve or something. I know when I ripped my heal off, nothing they gave me helped. I guess those drugs work on muscle, but not nerves. I hope your surgery solves the problem Liz.

                  Hello everyone! Today I went to my husband's grandmother's house for a family gathering to watch a parade (my husband had to work). It was fun. I'm down two pounds since last Saturday.

                  Liz, it stinks that you have to deal with all this. I hope Monday comes soon for you!!!

                  Dave, I'm glad you're back on track. Have you found Atkins' friendly recipes and snacks? I've found if I don't make different recipes and eat the same thing all the time things get boring and my mind starts to wander.

                    Hello everyone, just signing in for today's roll call.

                    14 pounds lost - really happy about it.

                    Went out to the seaside with my brother,his son and my uncle. We went down to see my niece in a musical play. We did all sorts of things, walking, climbing up a huge flight of stairs to an observation tower - and I squeezed into a very small bench seat in the back of my brothers convertible.

                    There is no way I would have had the energy to do these things a couple of weeks ago. My knees are beginning to thank me for losing the weight.

                    I even resisted temptation to nibble on some chips (french fries) when we had dinner.I had steak, mushrooms and salad. My first meal out since starting the plan, so a bit of a milestone.

                    Liz I really hope that your surgery puts a stop to this awful pain you are suffering - especially as you are having difficulty sleeping. I am sure that once everything is pinned back into place the pain will ease. I am holding you in my thoughts.

                    Dave, I am sorry to hear about the cheating. I haven't had a cheat yet, but am on the verge of one at least 50 times a day! This actually reminds me of when I stopped smoking - I was not stopped one day at a time, I was stopped one MINUTE at a time. Chin up mate!

                      Congrats on those 14 pounds Keetje! and for staying strong during your first meal out. Isn't it great how good this WOE makes you feel? I love the energy it gives and feeling like I finally have control over food instead of it controlling me!
