We're expecting extreme heat here again, so my only exercise today will be dragging ice out to the critters. After yesterdays chinese food indulgence---no, I didn't go over my carbs, I just had them all in one sitting

Well it's a new day, and day 3 now of no pop. I have to fess up I didn't walk yesterday but I will get out there tonight and get er' done. Now, I noticed a little something on the scale this morning... but I know it's just the 2-week wonder effect of Atkins and it will vary up and down as time goes on so I'm not getting too excited about it, but I'm 10 pounds down since I first came back to the boards a few days ago. It certainly helps to see the results, but I'm keeping it in perspective cause I know I have a long road ahead. Question though--can anyone point me to some before and after pictures for a six month time frame on Atkins. I would like to see how much others have lost (and otherwise improved) in six months of being on Atkins. Being able to see photos would help encourage me and give me an idea of what I can look forward to this Christmas 2008.

Please ignore the request for before/after pics. I found the Before/After forum and OMG... thank you for being brave enough to post--they certainly help the motivation of one to keep at it. Truly amazing how powerful Atkins can be.

Good morning (or afternoon) CC'ers! Well I've managed to make it to the lazy boy this morning but still having to keep my leg elevated. I'm counting down the days to go back to the doctor and get my cast. I'm hoping I can be a bit more mobile after that.
Salima, omg, when you cheat you certainly make it worthwhile! haha Chunkey Monkey is my favorite! lol Get to workin' girl, just keep on moving forward and put it behind you. Don't let it veer you off track.
Glad to have you back Blue!
Now we better see you again tomorrow too!!

Hey everyone! Gosh its so cold this morning in Oregon, Brrrrr! I am glad some of you have started summer
So this is day 8 of induction for me and yesterday I stepped on the scale at a friends house and was down 12 pounds in 7 days. I am very proud of myself and have stuck to only whole foods and water and its definitely working for me

wtg Lacey 12 lbs. is great congrats you must be so happy. I am on induction also I lost 8.5 in first week and I know what a great boost that gave me. Just been reading your journal and it has given me some great ideas for meals. You have done great job with it.
I haven't been having problems with constipation as is the norm, just the opposite actually is that normal anyone else had that problem.
I am also not hungry at all do I have to eat breakfast and lunch. I find i just grab a slice cold meat in morning and maybe some curried egg at lunch but I have a good dinner meat and either veg or sald. is that ok or should I force myself to eat more thru day and does it help with weight loss.
I am amazed at where my appeptite has gone usually I would graze all day long.
