Keetje signing in. Mad busy at work, but at least that keeps the mind focused. Planting some lettuce when I get home tonight, only way to get lettuce without paying the earth.

It's a gorgeous day here in the Northwest. Not a cloud in the sky.
Plan on planting more lettuce myself Keetji. I have a whole row already but can see where I'm going to want more.
I hear you on the prices Chick, crazy, ha! Gas in my neck of the woods is 4.29 a gallon. Liquid gold, I say. My Dh has been buying 5 gallon gas cans each payday and filling them up to store. It won't be long before the prices of gas will be much higher.

Hello to you all better late than never.
Would you believe that here in the North West of England are paying £1.31pence per litre which means approximately $9.57cents per gallon now that is liquid gold. In London it is about $10 per gallon.
The price of food is going up and up but I comfort myself by buying local produce and thinking about all the garbage I am not buying now I am eating right.
The weather is much cooler today and the sun seems to be a bit lazy.

Good afternoon all! It's raining here
so no walking during my breaks today.
Yesterday I completed day 1 of week 3 of the couch to 5K program. Before doing it I didn't think there was anyway that I could run a three minute interval, but I did it! I was so pumped. When the first three minute interval was over I did that arm pump thing where you make a fist and pull your elbow in toward your side and said "YES!" to myself. I was PSYCHED! Woo Hoo! I need to continue like the "Little Train"...I think I can, I think I can, I think I can!

Good Afternoon CC'ers... it's been a boring day for me here. I'm hoping I can finally get out of the house this afternoon. My dad's last day of work was yesterday so he's going to pack up the wheelchair and take me somewhere. I'm so tired of being couped up inside. Other than that things are going good. My foot is starting to feel alot better and I don't have to keep it elevated as much so that's good. Anyway, hope everyone has a wonderful Thursday!

Day five low carb and day four of no caffiene or sweetners. I think I am feeling my clothes get a bit looser. No scale at the moment so cannot weigh in.
Looking forward to getting to that first week mark on Saturday !!

Good moring everyone. It's another perfect day down under. Just checking in for roll call and to ask if I have been a bad girl.
I have no huger at all so haven't been eating brekky or lunch. Yesterday I had 2 boiled eggs. a small slice of capsicum{pepper} and about 5 olives then I had a pork chop and cup mashed cauli for dinner. Water isn't a problem as being a diabetic I drink gallons of the stuff.
So will this halt my weight loss by not eating properly thru the day it just so hard to force myself to eat when i don't feel like anything. Any suggestions greatly appreiciated.

Good Morning Wendy,
Yes, it's important to get your 20 grams of carbs in throughout the day. Otherwise your body will go into starvation mode and stall out your weightloss.
I realize while in ketosis that your appetite will supress.
When that is the case with me then I choose veggies higher on the carb count as in, artichokes (6.9 net carbs),pumpkin (1/2 cup canned,4.1 net carbs), shiitake mushrooms (1/2 cup 8.8 net carbs), tomatoe, cherry,(10, 6 net carbs). You're allowed 1/2 avacado a day and ten to twenty olives (5 large black, 0.7 net carbs) a day
Your menu looks alright, just need a little more to keep the carb count up. It's okay to eat fat, so maybe scramble some eggs in butter along with some type of veggie or cheese. And maybe a little protien at lunch with a small salad or sliced cucumber. It's important to spread your carbs out throughout the day.

Thanks Sherrie...I made myself eat an egg and slice bacon this morning it was funny cause even though I didn't feel hungry I really enjoyed it lol. Tonight I am having fish pan fried in butter and the rest of my mashed cauli. I will try to eat more veg and spread it out thru day cause I do feel like this week things have come to a stand till.
