    Morning folks
    DH's bday today. I promised to take him out to the place of his choice-wouldn't ya know it---italian Well, thank goodness for salads, i guess.

      What I know:
      1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
      2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
      3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
      4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

                HI everyone, I did not weigh yesterday but did this morning and I am down another 2 pounds.
                Day ten of low carb for me today, so that is pretty exciting !!

                      Keetje signing in. Hope everyone is having a good day. Congrats to Sherri, Dave, Steffie and Lacey on the weight loss. I am not due to weigh until Friday and if I am doing only half as well as you, I shall be delighted.

                        Morning all....well I am not doing as well as everyone else. I had a bad low on sunday night my blood sugar dropped to 1.4 and I was not well at all. I tried to eat something on plan but I was too far gone and all that was in fridge was coke so I had to have a glass to get me back up. Even that didn't bring me up much so my mum insisted I have a slice of toast as well as she was in a panic and scared I would get too low again during the night. I can tell you I was so upset that I had to have these things I cried. Anyway it worked and I have been ok since but now I have gained 2 kgs. is that possiable from just having that. I am so depressed and even though I have been sticking to plan and eating right I can't seem to get scales going again.
                        What am I doing wrong and what can I eat if this happens again. I am determined not to let this beat me but want to be prepared for next time this happens. I have cut down my diabetic meds now too so I hope this will stop me from dropping again.
                        I know I can do this and I can't beleive how upset I am that I have gained weight any ideas.

                          That's just a water weight gain. When you do Atkins, your muscles no longer hold water. When you did the carbs you did, it made you retain water again (that's why we loose so much during induction---water loss)
                          Glad you are feeling better. Just get right back on plan.

                            Thanks chicklady...I thought it was something my tummy and feet felt bloated and bigger then before. I have noticed today that my tummy has gone down again so hopefully will see results again soon. Just proved to me how deadly those carbs are hope I never have to do that agin! Again thanks for the advice can always rely on your guys to set things straight and answer my questions.
