    Yah Sue!!!!! it's a good feeling when you step on those scales and see the numbers have gone down isn't it. It is just having the determination to stick with it when we stall and be positive that it will start again.
    You are doing great and every pound is making a difference. I know they are for me I can feel it in my body and my bones especially my joints they are not groaning so much lol.

      Agree with you Lacey, there really is some dangerous stuff preached out there. Personally I tell people that I have read the book and am absolutely sure that Atkins is the best way for us to become healthy. I am 59 and nothing else has ever made me feel so fit and see a difference in my weight. Poo to all non believers.

        Hi Salima,

        The first few times I took the bike into work, I spent the whole day recovering so that I could manage the ride home - but that has passed now.

        Regarding the sore bum - yes..ouch! I have been there and still get the odd bit of saddle soreness - not nice. I am currently in training for a trip to the Netherlands in July where I will be cycling 50km plus per day with a very fit chum - no hills to worry about there! (fortunately!).
