    What I know:
    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
    2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
    3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
    4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

        Keetje signing in from the sunny UK. Feeling pretty good today, took a few measurements and I have lost 4 inches off my waist and ribcage.

            Good afternoon! Nice to see you all. Just taking a quick lunch break. I have my doc appt later today in Sports Medicine.

            f4n ~ Keep up that exercise! It's one of the best things we can do for ourselves.

              Hi all I am doing good but have decided to cut back on my cheese, cream and splenda. I want to see if it makes a difference for me. So far so good though, I feel smaller!

                  I hope everyone is having a good day today. TOM is visiting today so I am pretty blah. Not real hungry and no energy. Hopefully I will only have to deal with it a few days and feel back to normal. Even though it is that time, my clothes are a noticably looser and that is a good feeling.

                    Just checking in all going ok here. Had bad day yesterday was feeling like a big blow out had cravings really bad and of course all my family saying well do it. That was all it took for me to say no way do u know what will happen if I do lol anyways I was strong and resisted and today I feel ok again. Does anyone else have days like that is it normal I am almost finished week 3 and that was first time I really had to fight the temptation to cheat.

                      It is very normal to have a day where you just want to eat what you should not eat and everything is calling your name, absolutely !!!
                      You did awesome to resist and that is what it is all about, feeling the feeling and working through it, very good !! You must be so proud of yourself !!
                      I had a day like that a few days ago, just TOM letting me know the time was near and I even dreamed about chocolate, but in the dream I was saying, no, I cannot have it, lol !! I worked through it too and was fine.
                      I find that many times it is just my memory of eating that food when I am upset or angry or on tom, and once I realize I am fighting a memory it makes it much easier to deal with !!
                      The main thing here is that you did it, and now you know you can, that is really huge !!

                        Thanks Stephie...yes looking back now I was feeling pretty low yesterday I am living with my mum while I wait on a unit through housing commission here in Australia. They say it is about a 2 yr. waiting list so still have like 20mths. to go. The thought of living with mum for that long gets me down sometimes I am 51 and she still treats me like I'm still a kid lol. We live in a small town as well which makes it even harder as there is absolutely nothing to do and trying to buy stuff is really hard. I am on a disability pension so money is tight and rents and food and fuel here is just going thru the roof every week things are more expensive and I can't afford to rent privately so it is just a waiting game.
                        I try to stay positive but there are days when nothing can stop the blues ...anyway just being able to vent here makes such a difference so thanks for your ears.

                          Hey Everyone Here I am Again! Late, but here. Khesan, yes I do have days like that. Today was one of those days... I gave in and ate a peach! I have to say though a med. peach is 8 carbs. not too bad. As far as where I am on the level, I have no idea I have just been staying on less than 20 carbs. since May 17th. I can not find my book and have no idea what stage comes next except to move up to 40 carbs. a day for continued weight loss. So, I am somewhere out there. I am sure I used up all 20 carbs. today! I won't eat anything else today, but I may have a shake (1carb) If anyone wants to tell me what or where I am (heehee) stage wise, just feel free to pm or put it here and let me know. Anyways, Love to you all... will be late tommorow too.
