  • Blah Days Normal?

    Hi guys, I am having a blah day. Can't really say what is bugging me, just that I am just pissy. I have tried to stay away from everyone today. I am just wondering if this is a side effect? I have had a coupld down days since starting, but today is really just the pitts. I even canceled my 4th of July plans because I don't want to ruin anyones elses good time by being a downer. Don't know if this is normal or not!

      Hi SueSue1212, not sure where your at on this way of life. With this holiday coming up, the eating/drinking dragon may be roaring. You have lost 40 POUNDS! Go show it off, plan for the eating and drinking and have a ball. Amuse yourself at your new found knowledge on a healthy lifestyle. Most partying people will feel ill after the party... ugh. You will be feeling great that you are one day closer to your goal. Happy 4th!

        Thank You, I feel a little better after a nap, but geesh, I hate being down and not knowing why ya know? I will stay on track, I have done very well at staying true to this so far, come to far to mess up now.You guys have a Great 4th.

          I agree... go out and about - show off the "new you". You will feel much better afterwards. Happy 4th of July!

            As far as I know, it's not a side affect of Atkins, but it sure can be a side affect of LIFE! However you decide to spend the day, here's a for you!!

              Hi Sue I agree go out there and have fun. I have those days sometimes had one yesterday as a matter of fact. Think sometimes life just gets too much for you and you have to vent. I did yesterday had a huge row with my mum over nothing and cried on and off the whole day. Felling better today but can't get the scales moving properly lose and gain same kg over and over so I know where my frustartaion is coming from. Thinking of trying something else. I have huge amount of weight to lose and should be dropping not in limbo like I am.

                Thank You guys, I see a new post in here from someone else with the blues too. I hope they read this and feel better knowing it happens to us too! I am better now you know, but geesh it can get so low. I really, really have been missing my Mom!
                Losing Her was the hardest thing I have ever gone through. I am better, but still have spells where it gets to me.
