Hi Sherri and Clara (and anyone following after me),
Keetje signing in, hope all of you in the US are having an enjoyable Independence Day weekend.
I am off on my travels tomorrow, looking forward to the break - lots to do still, surprising how much aggravation it is to get one woman and one bike off and away!
Keep drinking the water!

Good morning! I am having kind of a down day today. I am getting ready to pack up my house and move to another state and I am stressed out! I do feel a sense of accomplishment though because Last week was the first week of the 6 week exercise challenge I joined and I stuck to my 4 days out of 7 schedule! Have a great day everyone!
I was passing through and noticed you felt a bit gloomy, so thought I would leave you a little message.
Moving house is incredibly stressful, especially if you are going a long way - no wonder you are feeling a bit down. (I am in the process of packing for a short trip and feel pretty stressed, so goodness knows how you feel!).
Here's a and hope you feel better soon .

Hello everyone! I've been feeling down the past 2 days and seriously thinking about going of this WOE and doing just a low calorie diet... but no worries... I'm not going to, since low-carb is the best way of keeping my blood sugar levels in normal range.
It's frustrating how the fact that I was pre-diabetic has such an impact on my weight loss - I'm fighting against my body on to fronts! No.1. blood sugar levels which I conquered and won and No. 2 my weight - so far I lost quite some weight, but again I'm at a frustrating point where I do compare myself with fellow CC'ers or Atkins Dieter and see their greater weight loss within the same time. I know I shouldn't but I do.
I know I should work out more and find a good balance of regular exercise. There's so much to work on and sometimes ... like the past 2 days - I feel pretty overwhelmed with everything! You guys ever feel like this as well?

I had left the page open after replying to Lacey and when I came back I found that your post had come up. Don't lose heart - look at how much you have lost over the past year!! We are of similar height and I would be so delighted to weigh 102.5!
I have noticed that quite a lot of us have had the glooms over the past couple of days. You know, my mum always used to swear that the moon affected peoples' moods, so I checked my moon calendar and saw that it was a dark moon and yesterday was the new moon...hmmm I wonder? perhaps Mum wasn't so mad after all!
What sort of exercise routine have you got? I must admit that I have always found things like the gym a bit dull, so I decided to use my bike more and incorporate it into my daily routine, like for going to work and doing the shopping - seems to be working.
Here is a *hug* for you too.

Good morning folks!
I'm sorry to see so many folks with the Blues! I wish I had some great words of wisdom to pass along. Only that this too shall pass. Meanwhile, I can give you all a great big hug

Hi SwissMiss, glad to hear you are staying strong. Sorry you are frustrated with the slowness of loss. All you can do is become the best YOU. That is enough. There is only one you. No one can replace you or be a better you. Be encouraged because you are doing something about your health.
Morning all. Hugs to you Salima ...I just went thru a few days like that {just as Keetje, she talked me thru it bless her} so it is good to write about it here instead of trying to deal with it all alone. It's amazing how a few words of comfort and understanding can put things back in perspective. I have so much to lose and like you seem to be going slowly but as long as it is going then I am happy. I was like you thinking of trying something else but this WOE had got me off my insulin and down to 2 meds a day for my diabetes and I know if I went off it then I would be back to square one and that's not a place I want to go again. Keetje I think your right there seems to be a lot of the blues around at the moment!. Anyway that's just my opinion hope your feeling on top of things again really soon. Keetje have a great trip and come back to us soon. : Hugs
