    Saw an article in the Saturday paper about a guy that lost 200 lbs., mainly through exercise (rowing in this case). It doesn't say what kind of eating plan he was following, but the article interested me because the guy was about my size (400). Always nice to see that it really can be done!

    Wow. That man was obviously motivated! Too bad the story didn't have better pics of his story.





    290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

      Thanks for sharing this article. I often see competitive sculling and think how much fun and great exercise it would be. Kayaking too. I was going to wait until near my goal weight to try it, but this guy did not wait. I am thinking of trying it. Rock climbing also. I was thinking these sports would be rewards but maybe they should be exercises sooner than later! Carpe diem ... right?
