  • I'm back!

I don't know if anyone remembers me but I used to be quite active on this board. I have had a really bad year (health issues & my parents divorcing) and gained back 50 of the 65 pounds I had lost. I'm not saying it was an excuse but it happened. I just started extended induction and have already lost 10 pounds. I feel so much better already. Atkins always makes me feel secure, if that makes any sense.

I'm very happy to be back.

I was down to 175 in 2007 and I will get back there again!

Welcome back Michele!!! I was here back in 2005 too, lost over 50 lbs., then wasn't dedicated enough and gained back 30 lbs. I restarted Atkins Jan. 2 and have now lost those 30 lbs. & 18 more and I am really determined to do it this time and you will too. Don't fret over the past, just look ahead. We can do this!

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well-preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, Champagne in one hand, strawberries in the other, body thoroughly used up, screaming "WOO HOO-What a ride"

Thanks for the welcome. Part of me wants to hold my head down in shame for gaining back the wieght, but another part of me knows to forge ahead and not worry about the past.

Hey there Kagi. It's nice to know there are some familiar faces around still. I am over the hard part already...getting through induction. I'm on extended induction for at least a few more weeks and then we will see where I'm at.
