        Good morning CCer's. I wanted to thank everyone yesterday for the encouraging words. The workout definetly worked wonders yesterday! I wish I would have woken up early enough to do a quick work out before work =(. But I had my eggs and coffee this morning and I'm ready to take on the day!

        Hope everyone has a fabulous low carb day!

          Hai guyz! So happy my gym opens at 7 a.m. and there's no one else there, except the "moderator," of course. Did the 30-minute circuit in blissful solitude

          Trying to get psyched up for breakfast, but I'm NOT hungry ... that is still just the weirdest thing to me ... not that I'm complaining, mind you.

          Keeping an "eye on the skies," with all the storms brewing out there ... not looking too good for South Florida right now We're far removed from that area but those are the same folks who suffered so from Hurricane Andrew.

          Anyway, TGIF!

            Hello Everyone,

            I'm back after a few weeks of illness - had a dreadful throat infection that knocked the stuffing out me - it was as much as i could do to keep my head above water!

            The eating has not been totally on plan, shall we say? Fortunately, I have maintained my weight and this morning got back on the wagon.

            Nice to see some new faces here, and all the usual suspects, of course!

                  Good morning!

                  I hope all of you are doing well and ready for another low carb day!

                  Stephanie, I'm so happy to hear that you're feeling better after your workout yesterday...as mentioned before, I find that helps me a GREAT deal in times of feeling stressed or a bit down.

                  I'm currently 14lbs from losing a total of 100 lbs....I was 400 lbs last year...as of April of this year I started to lose weight and then in July began Atkins and have continued to lose weight. As of this morning, I am 314lbs so I'm pretty excitted that in the next week or so I should finally be in the 200 range! I haven't seen that range for more years then I can remember.

                  Sadly, I seemed to have come down with a bladder infection and had to start drinking some cranberry juice late lastnight to deal with it. This is way off what I should be doing as I am in an extended Induction period...however, I have to deal with this problem so I went out late lastnight and found 100% organic cranberry juice that has 0 sugar or sweetener. I will be on it only for as long as it takes to deal with this problem. Hopefully it won't cause too much of a problem in the weight/craving dept....but I am working out hard each night still and making sure everything else I am eating is in accordance to Induction foods. I guess I can call this my first slip (cheating) but it's due to medical reasons.

                  Thought I would just give a brief update.

                          Good evening, Everyone:

                          Hope we are all well and happy.

                          I am pleased to report end of my 4th induction day, doing very well with motivation and discipline but it is very early days yet. I was down another 2 this morning so that brings me to 5 lbs in 4 days. Lots of water weight gone. Face looking much better as puffiness is gone.

                          Weekends are always a challenge for me. Also need to exercise this weekend, am training for a 5k on October 19. 4 days down, 17 days to go.

                          Good luck all CC'ers with your weekend plans and progress. Will "see" you all again tomorrow.

                            You might want to reconsider. Delivering papers used to be profitable....before gas went through the roof. But you can see if you like it by doing my route for a while
