    Good Morning CC'ers
    Hope everyone has a fantastic day!
    Today is the beginning of my detoxing and tightening up on carbs. I've gotten a little sloppy. I'm sure to have a terrible detox heacdache by the middle of the week. I deserve it! My bad!

    Oh noes ... detox headache! Well, you gotta do what you gotta do, Sherri

    Hey, I got a question: I started working out last week (circuit training) and really enjoy it. But Friday my DH was standing behind me and let out a shriek ... the back of my thighs were covered with big, ugly bruises! I'm fair skinned and while I bruise fairly easily, I haven't had any in quite awhile; but these are nasty suckers. Is this related to the diet in any way? Am I missing some nutrient? I feel fine.

    When I undertake a project, it's always with great enthusiasm ... maybe it would help NOT to hit the training equipment with a thud, eh? Anyway, if anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear it ... thanx!

      That would of been my guess. The friction of the exercises you're doing on the machines may be causing the bruising. Since it's on the back of your thighs. Focus on which machine and exercise you're doing at the time that would cause the bruising on your thighs.

        Thanks for the feedback and encouragement, Sherri!

        Y'know, I just had a thought: My doc told me to take fish oil capsules (on days I don't eat fish) and that I could take up to 4,000-5,000 mg. a day (to raise HDL cholesterol). Believe I read somewhere that fish oil can thin your blood a bit. So maybe that's the culprit! Well, that and being a klutz at the gym ! I'll cut back a bit and see if that doesn't help ... and buy some arnica gel for the bruising. AND be more careful .. thanx again, Mama Sherri!

          Good morning CCers
          Hannah is done with us, and she wasn't near the terror we expected. I think she did all her madness in n carolina and ran out of steam byt he time she got here. Lots of rain, but whilewindy, no damaging wind. Sigh of rellief....we have enough repairs to make to this place.

            Hi everyone!

            Wishing you all a successful and enjoyable low carb day!

            Sherri, good for you for taking a stand and tightening up on the carbs each day, I know you'll do great. Keep drinking lots of water to flush your system out and don't forget to exercise! I'm hoping you can avoid the detox headache.

            Chick, I'm relieved to hear you're safe and the storm wasn't as bad as anticipated...what a relief...thanks for the update!

              I take fish oil too doodette! It really helps me with my arthritis.
              What types of supplements are you taking?
              I take a Multi (centrum silver), calcium w/D, liquid magnesium capsules, olive leaf extract, Pro-Biotic, and fish oil capsules.
