You can do it Chick, just three more hours. Good morning everyone.

Good morning Chick, Blue and all those that check in
How many kitties do you have Chick? Good for you getting them spayed. Wish more people would do that here in my neck of the woods.
I might be going to pick eldeberries today. Havn't quite decided. We have a wildfire that's burning 12 miles east of us. The air quality is quite poor. It's been burning for a month now from lightning strike. It's only 10% contained at the moment. They estimate it to burn for another 2 weeks or untill it rains. Come on rain!
Wishing everyone a fantastic Low Carb Tuesday!
      Water, water, water!

P.S. Good Luck on your first day of NO smoking Chick. You can do this hon. I like it where you said in your stats about buying veggies in the shape of cigs to stick in your mouth, LOL. You're so funny. I just love ya! Do you have any Olive Leaf Extract(anti-fungul)? If not, get some and take it. It will help with the detox from not smoking. People that smoke don't realize that not only is the tar and nicotine deadly, but also the Myco-toxins (fungus) on the tobacco that is extremely deady. There's no source of heat that will kill the Myco-toxins on the tobacco. It filters into your lungs and causes the cancer.
Yes, fungus! It's how they store and dry the tobaco that causes it to develope mold on the tobacco. The fungus (mold) gets processed right along with the tobacco and you're smoking it along with the tobacco. YUCK!
Just some food for thought Chick to help you along your smoke free days.
      Love you bunches, Sherri

        Hi guys,
Chick, you can make it! Sherrie, we have all of the rain here in NC....My poor chickens are once again trying to stay dry. My husband built a trench around their coop on Saturday; all I can say is, it's a good thing he did!!! The would probably be floating by now. Anyway, here's to a good low-carbing day everyone.

          Hi Everyone!

Good luck with the not smoking Chick! I quit in February- I feel so much better w/o it.

Doing an extremely low carb week- my only carbs are coming from very low carb veggies.

I've been on Atkins for 3 weeks and I've lost a little shy of 6 pounds. That's not so little that I think I should try the fat fast yet, but I'm gonna see what a week of next to no carbs (no cheese, cream, vinegar, sweeteners, etc) does for me....
          Started 22 Aug 2008 295lbs

          245- weekend trip

Drinking 130oz water a day +8oz for each cup of coffee!

              Good morning CCer's!

              Chick-
I thought that was an extremely silly picture that you would enjoy =)

Sherri- The only thing I can think of when you said eldeberries was that part in Monty Python and the Holy Grail where the French guy said "Your mother was a hampster and your father smelled of eldeberries!!!" Hehehehe... I so need to rent that movie. I haven't seen it in ages.

As you all can see I'm losing my mind and getting super silly due to the stress of work and school. Hopefully it passes soon. Wishing everyone a fabulous low carb day =)
Hoping to be @ 180 lbs

                Re: 9/16 roll call

G'day to all you successful women, it is SO inspiring to check in here and see what you all are up to. EarthMother Sherri, I so enjoy your posts and benefit from the info you offer, a good good friend of mine recently quit smoking and I am going to look for olive leaf extract for him. such cute pictures and jokes you all have posted!

I am on Day 9 of induction, if you've read some of my posts you'll see it's not been a totally "clean" induction due to a couple of incidents, but I feel empowered and in control of my choices, and totally happy with the results I'm seeing: better energy by far, a good solid weight loss, tummy visibly shrinking...

NExt week school starts and that will be the real challenge for me, to see if I can be organized enough to put it all together in a form that will transport through the school day...for now I gotta jump on my exercise bike...Have a great day!

                  Re: 9/16 roll call

Thanks for all the well wishes guys! I'm nervous about tomorrow! My brain is already making excuses.

The girls are home and, much to their dismay, locked in the bathroom per Vets orders. There's just the two of them Sherri...Buttons and Baubles, my little tape measure bandits

mrssuraf....is this your first time on Atkins? I'm on my (at least) 3rd round, and probably my millionth time dieting, and I think that yo-yoing has slowed my metabolism.

Hi Everyone! I realize it's late, but I wanted to make sure that I checked in anyways! We had a very long photo shoot today, and I did not do good at all in the eating department. Our clients wanted to treat us out to eat, and because I made the very bad choice of not eating anything at all today I fell into the trap of eating anything I could get my hands on. *sigh* I praise God for fresh starts!!!!!!!! I'm back on track ASAP.

Chick, I'm joining in on the cheering for your journey to become smoke free! We all know that you can do it! Btw, your kittens are so very cute! I could just reach through the screen and cuddle them! Very cute names too!!!

Sugar...love the silly pic *teheheeeee* Too funny!

Terryjo, Congrats on the continued success!!! That is absolutely fantastic! I'm excited for you.

I hope you all had a terrific day and I hope tomorrow will be even better for you all!! Keep up the fantastic work!
Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland.
