I'm up early as well to do some major house cleaning and some yard work although it is super cold out this morning. I still am yet to have one clean successful day =(. I have no idea what's wrong with me. I figured if I got up early and had some coffee and got in a work out before house cleaning it would help me out. I think I keep losing sight that I only have 48 lbs left to go... that is nowhere compared to the 142 lbs I started out with.
Hopefully I will have a good report tomorrow morning. Wishing everyone a happy low carb day!
Good Morning All,
Yep, it's chilly here too. Just got in from walking and training my Boxer. You want to talk about a work-out; that dog is a handful!! Anyway, I hope you all have a great Friday and keep on keepin' on. BTW Chick...love the cartoon.
good morning... never posted to this thread.. I have been on induction for 10 days.. and recently started walking everyday... I have lost 9 lbs and feeling great!

Good goin'! Congrats
Made another early morning run to the gym ... it's surprising how many people are in there at 5:30 a.m.! As long as I have access to a treadmill, the lone rowing machine, and an elliptical trainer, I'm happy.
Just had my little eggy breakfast and am ready for the day ... hope y'all have a great one, too!
Hello Folks~ Sherri and Chicklady invited me when I joined a few weeks ago. Still at it and here to stay until it's gone. Feels slowish now that the initial thrill of the first 25 pounds has faded... didn't lose anything for 2 weeks, and dropped off another couple in the past few days.
I sure do like this way of eating. I made some shrimp with a butter and parm cream sauce last night with mushrooms and green onions, steak and salad. Life is good.
You all are good girls, working out like you do. I try hop on the elliptical about every other day, but can only get about 5 minutes on it at a time. (that is up from 2 minutes) Sad but true. We started some evening walking at an open space area that has some ponds fed by the Rio Grande and duckys, so it makes the walking not so grueling, (although I still complain, lol) plus it's on terrian some of the way, so the ground has give and unpredictability. Soon enough, winter will close in and close it up, but we are enjoying the autumn.
Chicken and broccoli tonight.. probably sweet and simple. Unless I get an inspiration for some exotic treatment for it.
Later tomaters!
Best Regards ~Kellen 48 y/o married woman 5'5" beforesigpic
I think it's great that you've incorporated walking in your schedule. It's one of the best forms of exercise out there.
In addition to that, I wanted to say to you with regards to your elliptical machine you've added 3 more minutes to your elliptical routine and that is something to be very happy about. These machines aren't always easy and the point is....you're doing whatever you can and that's more then not doing it at all! You'll be able to add more time on it gradually and work up, don't worry yourself about that....just keep getting on it and doing whatever you can. Remember to embrace the smaller steps along the way...those are the ones that lead us to our goals!
Great meeting you, I look forward to chatting with you more.
All the best,
Sarina

You know what, you're doing awesome! I know what it's like to have to come a ways with a lot of weight to take off. You've done such a great job....you're so close to your goal. I know you can accomplish this last bit of weight loss....look at what you've done so far!
Just stay focussed and ask yourself straight up...what is REALLY preventing me from having a clean day? You'll know what the answer is and once you've determined what it is, you can then deal with it straight away.
I have 149 lbs left to go myself and I know throughout this time I've had to "self talk" myself through some frustrating moments and times of..."who cares if I eat that"...so I wouldn't give in. I know you can do the same.
I'm so glad that you express how you're feeling here...we all go through those peeks and valleys...we'll get through it together!
Re-evaluate how you're looking at things or how you're thinking about what is left to take off. You've done awesome and you look great and I think you really need to recognize all that you have accomplised!
Keep up the great work!
Sarina
