      Welcome to the challenge. I'm happy you joined us here. I know what you mean about the black jeans not having any give to them. Probably why I always avoided them, LOL
      Yes, you can check in each day or when you have something to report. I'm sure folks will be reporting alot of exercise each day.
      Everyone is posting some great goals. All attainable too!
      We're gonna kick butt on this challenge!!!!!

        I'm joinig this challenge as well. Since I'm a slow looser, I pledge 15 lbs but 1200 excercise minutes. I haven't weighed-myself in a while, but I will in the morning of the 19th and report here.

          Leaving in the early AM, but I will pledge 20 pounds, hopefully to a new low, see you all next Thursday.

          What I know:
          1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
          2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
          3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
          4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.

              HI everybody... I havent been following the Atkins diet for a while, and I feel terrible, I have gain some weight back, so I need a challenge to inspire me to do what I was doing and was working so well! ok... I plan to lose 55 lbs. for new year's eve... I need to do this for my mental health! haha... I want to weight 218 lbs. that is 99 kgs. I havent been in that weight for at least 17 years, so its really important for me.

              So my weight goal is 218 lbs.
              and I will do 4 times a week 90 minutes of exercise, so that's 3600 minutes for me.

              I will post on saturday my current goal, right now Im back on induction, today is my first day, I've been having a hard time starting again, a lot of stress and that is the perfect excuse to not do what I was doing so well... but ok, I wont be hard on myself, I can fix this and get to my goal...

              By the way, I bought my first levi's jeans, in my entire life I couldnt use them cause I was too fat, and although I know its a plus size, its a 18W, yes! after starting with a 28W, Im now a size 18W

              So I weight this day 274 lbs. I already bought clothes that are not plus size, some shirts and blouses of XL size fit perfect, it feels great! hahaha specially after being a size 30W but with this two last weeks the new clothes are starting to feel too tight so that is a warning sign, and cause I got rid of all my old clothes so I really have to do this or I will have nothing to wear! hahahaha

              Ok, so 218 weight goal, 3600 minutes of exercise...

                This is exactly what I need to kick my butt in gear (: so I am going to pledge to lose 20 lbs (1.9 lbs per week), and 630 mins of exercize (at least 20 mins of exercize 3x week).

                  Hi Sherri - can I join? I really need to challenge myself to get my work out in. I purchased zumba dvds so this should help me make myself use them instead of them collecting dust.

                          Hi guys, well I would like to join as well...first challenge for me so here goes.
                          20kgs. {someone will have to convert lol}
                          Can't pledge any exercise time as I can't walk or stand very long but I do band and weights does that count? if it does then I do about 30 min 5xweek.
                          This is going to be really good for me so looking forward to it.

                                Ok, now that I have given some thought about my goals I'm ready to sign up for the New You challenge.
                                Goals:
                                Lose 28 lbs which would put me at a new weight of 180.
                                Be wearing a size 12
                                Lose 10 inches
                                Exercise 45 minutes 5 times a week for a total of 2475 minutes.
