Being able to sit comfortably in restaurant booths, and slide in and out easier.

Being able to walk/jump out of my car from being the steering wheel without having to slide out sideways. And having my seatbelt loose and comfortable.

I could probably list many more.

Being able to sit anywhere without having to worry about whether I'll fit, whether the chair will collapse, whether the people next to me will pull faces, whether I'll be able to get up again, whether I can cross my legs ...

I know this may sound silly but being able to dry my jeans and not stretch my shirts.
I had finally gotten to a size where I said I will no longer buy bigger clothes. I will just have to lose weight. And I began to find shortcuts like not drying my jeans and stretching my cotton shirts before putting them on.
I am now happy that I can put my jeans in the dryer. :joy

I can sit down in my patio chair without pain.

I can get up out of my patio chair without pulling it off by butt.

I enjoy a nice glass of water

I can sit comfortably in theater chairs

In the dressing room, asking the nice clothing saleslady to get me a smaller size rather than picking the largest size off of the rack and knowing that it either fits or I don't buy it. What a joy to look for clothing in the middle of the rack instead of in the back (where all the largest sizes are hung)!

Re: Small victories that come with weight loss

I remember when I first had lost a lot of weight (I had gone from 275 to 220 my freshman year at college) I was just facinated that I could see my bones on the top of my hands when I would type of play the piano... I could see them moving under the skin. It was such a neat thing to me. That and my wrist bone poked out a bit. They say it's the little things that mean the most to you.

I know just what you mean, Leah!!

I am always wiggling my fingers to see the contours of the back of my hands and knuckles move around. Sad or what!!
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

Being told, when I went to buy another pair of the brand of jeans I've been wearing for decades: "They don't make them in sizes lower than....". Goodness! I've been wearing 'em for years and years and now suddenly that whole era is past! Onward to different brands and smaller cut jeans....

Not feeling like a sardine when I take a bath!!

Being able to run up a flight of stairs at school and not panting, or having to pretend not to pant so others won't hear me, at the top.
No stats. Not weighing anymore ever. Will post "before and after" pictures when I want to. The end.
