    Good Morning CC'ers
    Cold wet day here in the Great Northwest. Hope all is well in your neck of the woods.
    Been working on my Thanksgiving menu.
    What's everyone cooking on Thanksgiving besides turkey?
    Just curious.

    Good morning
    We'll have a sweet pumpkin casserole, roasted string beans, salad and stuffing for the hubby. Peanut butter pie for dessert.....I use my own variation of Lindas Peanut butter bars, and add a topping of melted chocolate and crushed peanuts.
    I normally don't do turkey, but they are giving us one at work this year.





    290 lbs. on 11/02/07 Goal: 145 lbs. or size 14 whichever comes first!

      Hi guys.... I'm baaaack.... We took a trip to visit family over halloween weekend, and some road snacks and beers later, it took me two weeks to get 'clean' again. I managed to eat a sampling of most of my trigger foods, each time, thinking "huh.. what's so great about that?" afterwards. Somehow, we just couldn't get our rhythm together and wound up eating out a bunch, after eating an Atkins breakfast & lunch. Working definately makes it harder; have to plan more.

      Good news, is that I only gained back a pound that I had lost, and have lost 2 more below my most recent lowest weight. (now 254. Yay!) I've done a bunch of walking and working in the last three weeks, but don't suppose I can use it in the New You challenge.

      One thing that was different for me, is that I didn't go crazy with a whole bunch of junk... just some junk, and favorite foods, and not all day. I think that saved me. Anyway... still at it, and still losing.

        I was on the same boat with my eating. I finally got smart and jumped ship and climbed back on the Atkins ban wagon 100%.
        Hey, if you have a good guess-sta-ment of how many minutes you clocked up on walking, i'll accept them in the CC New You Challenge.
        Nobody has been posting what type of exercise and for how long before they change the info on the chart at the challenge. My fault, I didn't make that clear in the beginning of the challenge. Starting tomorrow we'll all post exercise minutes, weight and inches lost, before the chart gets changed.
        Yep, that was the same with me when I wondered off my Atkins path. I didn't go totally crazy. Just some favorite foods I havn't eaten in over 4 1/2 years. Some I was disappointed in. I realize now I have new favorite foods. My old favorites just weren't the same as I remembered. It goes to show how Atkins changes our pallet.
        I never thought in my lifetime that I would crave veggies like I do now. Very Cool!
