  • I'm back again.

So I do apologize to those of you who have PMed me and I haven't responded to. I have had a rough few months with a family memeber becoming very ill and just the stress of everyday life. You got it I completely JUMPED off the wagon. Resulting in the gaining of 14 lbs which I am really bothered by.

My grandmother that I have been taking care of is going into her early stage of Dementia which makes her severly angry and exceptionally hard to deal with. Then the other half and I are planning to move out together in September and with trying to save up money and me going to school full time and only being able to work part time is more than a challenge. Just as we had figured out how to save up enough for this move his Father (Which he lives with and helps pay for their place and bills etc.) just got laid off from his job and now must collect unemployement which is only willing to give him half of what he was making before. And mind you his father was in construction so he made very good money. Because of this my other half is left with a majority of the bills at his home.

To put the cherry on top because my Grandmother is seeming to get worse with her dementia by the day when I leave she will have to go live with someone else since it is difficult for her to live on her own and I refuse to put her in any kind of home I have to also figure out where she is going.

Good news though is I have been back on this WOE since Monday and have already lost 5 lbs which I'm not posting my weight on my ticker till this upcoming Monday just incase AF decides to commence with the water retention lol.

Thanks to everyone who has read this whole post of nothing but whining and rambling. I'm back and ready to kick some butt!!!

Well done for picking yourself back up and getting started on induction again
Wondering how to get 'most' of your net carbs from your induction veggies?

              Re: I'm back again.

Welcome back girl! Great seein you again. I think it's sweet that you've been takin care of your grandmother. I did the same thing for my mother, when she had a bunch of medical issues. I gained almost, if not, 100lbs during that time, and a lot of it was stress. I worried about any and everything under the sun, food was my security blanket, and sweets were my middle name! I took a long hard look at myself one day, and decided that I was much stronger than I gave myself credit for....so are you. You CAN do this, one day at a time

              Glad you're back!
