I'm looking forward to my thighs not rubbing together when I walk. That way, I can wear shorts without having to pull down the hems every few steps. (Thighs rubbing together tend to make shorts ride up on the inside of your thighs, remember??)

I do..I do... That is one reason I usually don't wear shorts in the summer. I get tired of pulling them down. LOL

Boy, that thing about not being the biggest person in the room is a common theme, no? I thought I was the only person out there checking everybody else out to see if there was anyone (oh, puhleeeeeeese let there be someone) bigger than me.

What I can tell you now, after 383 days on the Atkins WOL, is that I am very seldom the biggest person in the room. Yes, I'm probably still bigger than half of the people in the room but, as long as there's 10 or more people, there are usually a couple bigger then me (at least!). On March 1, 2004 I can very honestly tell you that I was the biggest person in my building of 65 people.

Someone this morning at work made my day by telling me that she is starting Atkins on Monday and that I am her "role model". While I surely shouldn't be anyone's role model, it made me feel good that this last year of motivation has been noticed. And I'm not giving up! As Robert Frost said, I have "...miles to go before I sleep" --- and even then I'm keeping one eye open for anything that attempts to derail me from this WOL!

              I can't wait to:

Stop sweating under my boobs and stomach.

Wear sleeveless shirts and show my toned arms.

No bra buldge - a smooth back minus the "fat rolls" - I hate that.

Wear high heels again without my feet killing because I have to carry an extra 130 lbs.

Buy clothes at any store - especially "Anthropology" (I'm planning on buying my first official 100# loss outfit there)

Saying I lost it all through Atkins and not Surgery. (not that I'm judging)

Wearing thong underwear that don't get lost (if you know what I mean)

...and many of the others already listed...wearing shorts, sex in ALL positions, feeling good about myself, room on airplanes.

Oh what a feeling it will be when I get there :icondance

                I can't wait to:

Have a narrow shadow--and not just in the late afternoon!

Have less bulges and a smoother sillouette

Not have people watch me when I'm eating like: "Does she really need that?"

                Buy sexy underwear and sleepwear

Buy sexy boots that fit my ankle and calf

Wear pantsuits---not the polyester/grandma kind either---the kind with long jacket and slim pants that look so professional and smart

                finally:------------Drum roll--------

See Cleo make it to 100!!!!!!!! (only one to go!!)

                  Some things I have accomplished!

I can wear my DH jeans, size 36 waist, unbelievable but true.

I can buy clothes in the ladies section and the PLUS size are TOOO big!

Now for things I look forward to!!!

To be able to cross my legs, lady like and it be comfortable!

For my husband to tell me when I not longer look fat. I am not there yet!

Just a few to share with my ADBB family.

                    I can't wait to :

Walk in any store I want and fit in regular sizes - plus sizes are so boring!

Fit in the airplane seat this fall and not be totally uncomfortable

Sit in the back of my sisters van with her kids and not have the kids tell me - Aunt Amy, you are too big to sit back here with us

Go for a walk with my mom and being able to keep pace with her

And the list goes on and on.... :yes

I'm new here but have 100+ pounds to lose. I will offically start induction tomorrow. WISH ME LUCK!!

The thing I'm most looking forward to is riding roller coasters with my kids. I love roller coasters was was humilliated last year when I couldn't fit on the rides and had to stand back and watch the kids go without me. Hopefully this summer will be different.

I'm also looking forward to taking a trip to Jamaica for my 15th wedding anniversay in March of 2006. I want the weight to be off by then - probably not all of it, but a big portion of it!!

shorts and a tank top on a hot summer day

playing golf with my husband without my boobs getting in the way of my swing

playing at the playground with my daughter and not worrying about whether I'm too heavy for the slide or the swings

long walks when I'm on vacation in the mountains without worrying about if I'll be able to make it back to the cabin

sexy underwear that actually looks sexy on me!

Mine is the buy a normal bra one! I'm so sick of huge high-engineered over the shoulder boulder holders! And only in white, cream or black, moreover! I did buy a pretty one recently, it is peach and pink colours. When I tried it on both the back adjusters snapped in half! (They were very flimsy.) I've remade it using piping cord! DB said send ti back but I figured they'd all have same flimsy adjuster thingys so went the repair road instead.
