Good morning everyone Another working week is almost over (at least for those working Mon-Fri) and the month is almost gone! Today is a day-off for me so I can enjoy a walk and get ready for my weekend

    1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.

I guess I need to post here as my final goal is to 155. You can read my journey at Journal Chats Fit by Fourty!

I am thinking that my 2 week pause is starting to shake off since I lost a pound yesterday. I am not holding my breath.

I also had a stomach issue yesterday so any weight today is inaccurate. I am weighing daily right now and taking an average to claim for the week.

Looking forward to getting to know ya'll!

Good morning! Off to groom a few dogs today (semi-retired pet groomer here) then I'll do my exercise and post on the 6wec. Welcome tricia. I used to have a roommate who raised and showed standard poodles. Cool dogs.

Thanks Chicky for the input about calories yesterday.

          Have a great day everyone!

            Good morning everyone!

Welcome Pudellvr, it's great to have you here with us! I'm sorry to hear that you wree suffering from some stomach issues yesterday, I hope that has passed and you're feeling much better today. Remember also to take your measurements, they're much more accurate then the scale when checking for progress. Many times we're losing inches, however, the scales might not show our progress.

Have a successful spin on your elliptical machine today Kellen! I will pm you sometime later on after work...I'm running behind today and haven't had a chance to answer yet...it must be Friday!!! LOL!!!!

I hope all of you have a fabulous low carb day today and a terrific weekend as well!

Welcome to Century Club, Tricia ! It's frustrating when the scale doesn't move , but if you stick to the plan it will eventually start moving again. Like Sarina said, when the scale doesn't move the tape measure can and you can tell in your clothes, too.

This is a great group! Keep coming back!

Good morning fellow Atkineers ! I shouted for joy when I got on the scale this morning because I arrived in ONEderland! It's been a long time since my weight started with a 1. I am soooooo incredibly ecstatic . Today is a vacation day for me and it was nice to sleep in and not wake up at the of dawn. It was even better when I hopped on the scale - I was so excited I had to call my mom right away. Woo hoo!

Hitting ONEderland also means I'm almost halfway to my goal. I'm also 14 pounds away from being out of the obese category and moving into the overweight category. I can't believe it. That's my next celebration point!

Thank you all for sharing your wisdom and knowledge of this way of life with me as well as supporting and encouraging me along the way. You guys are the best !

Hi everyone! I'm feeling a lot better after being really sick for about 2 days. I had to go a bit off plan from extended induction and drink some hot lemonade, but thank goodness that lemons have very little carbs! It did the trick and I'm almost back to normal. I just hope my sinuses regulate soon because I totally hate having a stuffy nose all day!

Not only am I feeling a bit better, I'm also 2 more pounds lighter! I guess that's from not eating so much during the 2 days, but I did make some induction friendly creamy broccoli and cauliflower soup and drink a lot of tea.

                          Enjoy your weekend everyone!
