    Good morning everyone. I've completed my 14 days of Induction, lost 7 pounds. Recovering nicely from my stomach bug. Life is good

      I've decided to stay a bit longer in induction because I'm not bored yet, rather I liked induction.

        Yay! for making it threw induction. I have 6 more days of it left. I wanted to attack the kids food last night. Today I'm suppose to get an oil change. I'll be with in walking distance of one of my favorite cheats. Fried chicken livers. Why that, I don't know. I do know it is a food I crave whenever I diet.



        My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

        1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
        2nd mini goal: 140!
        3rd mini goal:135!
        4th mini goal: 130!

        I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

          Morning everyone Congrats on your weight loss lifechange and keep your wits together Ritaceleste I am not sure if liver would be on the acceptable food list.. it might be, if it is fried with no bread crumbs..or whatever it is called

            Yes, chicken livers are allowed. Just no breading. Their great sauted in butter then add cream to them for a sauce. mmmmmm!

              I guess I'll have to learn how to cook them then. I skipped leaving the house because I knew I'd cheat if I did. I could do beef liver? I know how to cook that. That helps. I guess even the fried ones I was buying aren't that bad cause most of the coating flakes off of the while they are cooking. But once I broke a 4 day fast with a double order and got to feeling really, really bad. I just wanted to lay down sleep right in the middle of town. Now I'm gonna make me a burger. Something I can eat guilt free!!!

                ya, here... gotta get busy. feeling better... the worst is over... we'll have to see about the 'bug;' it comes and goes, sometimes normalizing then getting bad again a couple times during the course of the day. I've been taking probiotics, but that hasn't helped. No peanut butter either, Chicky, although I sniff it when I wake DD's PBJs in the morning. Thanks for the well-wishes

                will have steamed salmon for yunch=yum.

                I could go for some chicken livers! I didn't think organ meat was ok during induction. (containing some carbs) I keep meaning to whip out the book and review. Wouldn't matter for me anyway, because I'm trying to do owl now. Having trouble getting the extra veggies at times; either not cooking enough, or not feeling like more. What I really want is nut rung and fruit rung. I'm just thinking out loud.. must go accomplish something after my slacker day yesterday.

                  Yeah, I think the livers will have to wait. But only 6 more days!!! I never seem to get past rung 3. So I kinda know what absolutely can't do. Its hard to go threw induction everytime I start Atkins back up. Sometimes I get a little slack. But this time I've been good and lost 8lbs so far. I started at 178.

                    you really don't have far to go RitaCeleste, so 8 pounds is quite a bit! (assuming that 130 is your actual goal. did you notice your ticker says 105 is your goal though?) And when you are ready, just fry up those chicken livers with some onion and bacon and they will be fantastic without breading. I actually like them better that way. (but the cream sauce sounds pretty good too. must try!)

                      I think a cold is at the gates.. Need to take a vit C supplement I think.. Good thing is I started getting comments on my look.. "you are getting slimmer and slimmer every passing week".. (this is Nestor(a.k.a. me) --> )

                        I cheated. I'll be checking my ketones like crazy. I might as well just live on induction. As for my goal weight. I might quit at 145 or 150. I still am not really skinny there, but I can be happy there. I am not the most realistic person when it comes to goals.
