    Weather is ok today, and I feel ready to run...but, I got to get to work..

    Good morning all.
    Scribbler, I'm just getting home from work, and I got my workout there, unloading a truck full of newspapers. My aching legs!!

      Morning Scribbler, Chick, and all who follow. We went from 68 degrees yesterday to snow this morning - I want spring back! Didn't make it to the Y this morning, stayed up too late last night.

          Scribbler-Congrats on the 40 pounds gone forever.
          Snowing here today. It was 75 degrees a couple weeks ago.
          I had an early spring suprise in my flower beds
          Their still pretty in the snow now.
          My hummingbirds will be arriving soob. I'll be putting out their feeders in a couple weeks. Can't wait.
          Eating has been good here. I could still improve on exercise. I'll be working on that.
          Wishing all of you a fantastic low carb day.
          Any plans on Valentines day?

            Scribbler, congratulations on your 40 loss...that is wonderful news!!!!!!!

            I hope that everyone has a wonderful low carb day today.

            Heaviest weight last year- 400 lbs. (2007)
            April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
            Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
            1st major goal met -----
            100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.

            2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
            Current weight – 234 lbs.
            Goal weight - 150 – 160

              I will spend my whole valentine weekend to my gf's beach house..

                Good afternoon, CCers!

                Chick, I can relate to the sore legs. I started a new free weight lifting program on Monday and my legs are sooooo sore ! Yesterday and today I've been walking pretty funny! Hopefully, tomorrow will be better.

                    My birthday was yesterday. Today ex/SO took me out to eat. I ate some bourbon chicken and that's as bad as it got. I am really proud of myself. I didn't eat the rolls that were on the table, I didn't sneak a brownie on the way to the restroom. On my birthday I hunted down rotisserie chicken, I still have a little left. I'm not craving the carbs as much, finally. My weight was down again this morning, don't know how it'll be tomarrow. I'm holding out on moving my ticker because its gone up so much today. (173.6) I had diet sodas while I was out today. It did this yesterday too but I was at 170.2 before I went to bed, and 168.8 this morning? My clothes fit better though.



                    My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

                    1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
                    2nd mini goal: 140!
                    3rd mini goal:135!
                    4th mini goal: 130!

                    I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

                        Good afternoon CC'ers, great jobs on weight loss and eating right!!!!!
                        40 year old male 6' 3"

                        What I know:
                        1-Atkins WOE/WOL plan works
                        2-I need to always work on the behaviors and triggers that make me over eat.
                        3-Atkins WOL is part of the puzzle, but is not the entire thing.
                        4-Self-deprecation only feeds our inner ego and not in a good way.
