I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

Heaviest weight last year- 400 lbs. (2007) April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point) Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
1st major goal met -----100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight. 2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day. Current weight – 227 lbs.

Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.
Thanks Chicklady....I had a killer headache yesterday...and then a back-ache to go with it last night...so maybe that was induction flu??? It definitely made it impossible for me to work out, I just felt like crud!
Looks like I won't get a workout in until Thursday I have to pack to leave town this evening...to include cooking up some induction friendly foods to have on hand for a stressful day waiting in a hospital tomorrow.
I'm disabled...so going for a walk at the hospital isn't an option for me to get a workout in...wish it was, believe me. It's gonna be a long day.
