      Morning everyone! No snow here but I'm freezing!



      My starting weight was 235 lbs and I'm trying to get to 130 lbs.

      1st mini goal: 145! met 12/09
      2nd mini goal: 140!
      3rd mini goal:135!
      4th mini goal: 130!

      I drink coffee. I drink when I am thirsty. I am just a low carber. Not on Atkins at all!!! He has everything to do with my weightloss and nothing to do with it, depending on who you ask.

        Good morning, CCers !

        It's official...I'll be having surgery on Thursday to remove my gallbladder *she says feeling relieved, yet nervous*.

        Now I need to get a bunch of ideas for Atkins-friendly "soft" foods. I going to start a thread for that.

                Hello Everyone I just came back after a 3 day trip. Although I have been a bit under the weather I decided to get my butt off on a small 3 day trip and I just got back

                    Heaviest weight last year- 400 lbs. (2007)
                    April 1, 2008 - 387 lbs. (This is when I initially started to lose weight…but was not on Atkins at this point)
                    Atkins start weight – 347 lbs. (July 19, 2008 – began Atkins)
                    1st major goal met -----
                    100 lbs. lost as of Oct 2, 2008 - Hit 300 lbs. on this day – From April 1-08 when I initially begin to lose weight.

                    2nd major goal met - 151 lbs. lost as of Jan 13, 2009 - Hit 249 lbs. on this day.
                    Current weight – 227 lbs.
                    Goal weight - 150 – 160

                      I guess so it's easier on your digestive system as it gets back to normal functioning.

                        Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

                              Thanks Chicklady....I had a killer headache yesterday...and then a back-ache to go with it last night...so maybe that was induction flu??? It definitely made it impossible for me to work out, I just felt like crud!

                              Looks like I won't get a workout in until Thursday I have to pack to leave town this evening...to include cooking up some induction friendly foods to have on hand for a stressful day waiting in a hospital tomorrow.

                              I'm disabled...so going for a walk at the hospital isn't an option for me to get a workout in...wish it was, believe me. It's gonna be a long day.
