Hi everyone! I'm so relieved to see the forum back today after having severe ADBB withdrawal yesterday! lol
Things are going great here, and after a bit of a weight-loss still-stand, the scale has moved again! I'm only 7 pounds away from my next mini-goal and I'm so excited!

I'm on day 4...still here. Happy the site is back up. I know some people were able to get on this morning but I was only able to in the last few hours.
I'm doing ok on induction...not clear why my feet are swelling. When I did this back in June, I had swelling problems because I stopped taking my water pill...but I didn't stop it this time and my feet are still swelling up. Eating so much fresh food, I KNOW added salt isn't the problem...I'm eating about 3 pieces of bacon a day and 2-3 oz's of cheese...where else is there sodium?? I just don't get the swelling.
Anyway...I hit ketosis by the end of day two...feeling the energy effects already by the end of that day. Awesome!
Haven't needed a tums in 4 days...but have needed some advil for headache every day...but the ache is not near as bad today as it was on day one.
I can't wait to start exercising...I hope maybe I'll have a chance tomorrow evening???? and this weekend...two days of working out! Oh yeah, baby! I'm excited!

Successfully did Atkins in 1998 using 1992 copy of the book...before it was "hip". Lost 60lbs, exercised daily, felt and looked great. And then I moved in with a junk-food loving man, my mom got sick and passed away, then I suffered a spinal cord injury, and junk-food dude left me...and now I weigh 292lbs. That's 22lbs MORE than I weighed the first time around. It's 10 years later...I know this will work for me again.

Ahhh...without the bulletin board I went on a carb binge and gained 100 pounds!
Well, not really. In fact, I was good - but I was shocked at what a support everyone in here has become for me. Anyway, I got my scale down to 291...almost at my third mini-goal. Two more pounds and I will be at 35 pounds gone since January...30 since i started Atkins. It will be a nice milestone to hit. 35 just seems like a number worth talking about!
Anyway, my initial goal for my biggest loser competition was to lose 35 in the contest. I'm almost there, and might set my sights on 40. Who knows."People who say it cannot be done should not interrupt those of us who are doing it." - George Bernard Shaw
